Q1: What are some warm tips before installation?
A1: First, Please confirm the cellphone model first before repair. Second, Please run out of battery power or less 20% before you repair. Third, At the beginning, new battery is unstable and it will reach optimal performance after charging and discharging completely for 3- 5 cycles. Finally, If phone cannot turn on after installation, please make sure the battery connector fit tightly with cellphone, then charge battery for 1-2 hour, after that turn on your phone again.
Q2: What should we do if the phone keeps restarting or the screen appears blind or cannot be charged?

Every installation video cautions about the fragile ribbon cables that connect the screen to the processor board. I've been working with electronics devices for years and never had an issue with cables being fragile, until now. The ribbon cables are extremely fragile (almost like paper)... Why do I know this? The cable that connects the touch sensor tore off during the removal/reinstall. The new battery works great... but no touch sensor... You can go into Settings and create an on-screen Home button; which does work. Fortunately I was able to purchase a replacement cable from: JIARUILA Mobile Phone Parts Store on Aliexpress. Bottom line... Be Extremely Careful when inserting the pry-tool along the edge; do not insert it very far. I didn't believe that ribbon cables could be this delicate but they are...be very very careful.

Replacement was straight forward. Time will tell how long this battery lasts. The last three batteries I purchased from different manufacturers only lasted one year before swelling, which is why they were replaced. The original battery lasted almost 4 years. I now believe these battery failures are money makers for those who make them.

So the installation kit is decent but the battery is not very good. It lasts about a day, bleeding down to 50% and then drops to dead overnight. And that's with no use. It is better than my original completely dead battery but this experiment is a lesson learned - just go to an authorized Apple reseller and get them to install a new Apple battery.Update: The seller reached out and refunded my purchase which was unexpected and very cool. I updated the experience to 4 stars because the battery is still better than one that was completely dead, and the tool kit worked as expected. Thank you.

Just replaced my iPhone 7 battery and it worked! Followed the video instructions. The trickiest part is getting the case to come off initially when it asks you to warm it to loosen adhesive. This part is difficult. We used a heating gel pad that warms up in microwave. It was difficult but managed. Beyond that easy fix and right away my phone detected the new battery and went from battery fail to 100% battery. In stores it would have cost 50-70 to replace. Purchasing this helped me save money! Definitely recommend!

Never put a battery in a phone before. This kit had what was required to complete the task. I read in some of the reviews that " my" 12-year-old replaced the battery in his iPhone in 15 minutes. It took 3 hours for me being very, very, careful. It works fine and went 2 days before a recharge. As for longevity it remains to be seen. I am happy with this purchase from TQTHL.

I bought the battery on December 1, 2021, and bought the iPhone 7 LCD Display and Touch Screen at the same time. After installing the screen and battery, it won't turn on. It always shows the Apple icon, then restarts. I thought it was because I couldn't take it apart or put it back together again. Later I bought iphone13. This iphone7 was put on hold. Yesterday, because my daughter lost her mobile phone, I took out my iPhone 7 to fix it. Tried updating and restoring many times, it didn't work, and it also showed 4013 error. Then I measured the battery and it was only at 0.79 volts. I happened to have an iphone6 that couldn't turn on but the battery had 3.20 volts, so I tried to unplug the battery of the iphone6 and connect the battery of the iphone7. Press the power button to display that it needs to be charged. After plugging in the power cord plugged into the USB of the computer, the phone will display that the phone needs to be updated. After clicking OK, it will wait for the update. Finally booted successfully. This is because the battery is not working, causing the phone to turn on repeatedly. Sadly it took more than a year to find out why.

Value of ‘Higher capacity’ is questionable. Don’t notice any appreciable difference compared with the original (lower capacity) battery. The adhesive strips supplied with the battery resemble the apple-installed adhesive strips in appearance BUT they tear right in your hand when attempting removal!! So that is troubling- am now unable to easily remove the battery for re-positioning or replacement:After installation of this battery, the home button is acting wonky - but due to torn adhesive strips am UNABLE to attempt reinstall of the original battery or repositioning of this replacement battery.

My daughter's iPhone 7 would barely hold a charge. She would have to recharge it multiple times throughout the day. Installed this battery replacement and it is like night and day. She uses her phone a lot and now it can make it nearly the entire day without a recharge. I was worried about installing the battery but it wasn't that difficult, not as bad as I thought it would be. The only tricky part for me was initially separating the screen from the back casing but someone mentioned using an exacto knife and that helped. The included tools were great, better quality than I expected, especially the screw driver, I had no problems removing all the tiny screws. I would definitely buy this battery replacement again in the future. It's really a good deal when you consider this replacement battery has a higher capacity than the original battery and all the tools are included.
