I keep these as emergency rations, but also use them for hiking/trail running. Finding a bar that has 400 calories, tastes good, and doesn't break the bank is wonderful. The bag is re-sealable, but the "individually wrapped" is a bit misleading. They're wrapped but not individually sealed. The wrapping comes off fairly easily, and the bar will break apart and crumble, so it's best to keep it in a baggie until you're ready to eat it. Easy to eat without a drink, slightly sweet. Flat bars are easy to keep in a pocket of my hydration vest. And 400 calories are good for 2-4 hours of trail running or hiking, depending on how hard I'm going. Price is wonderful compared to the price of protein/nutrition bars and the taste is better than most.

I got these on the 17th of July. Put them straight into my "go" bag. Went back to my bag 3 days later to add something to my bag as we have fires nearby and found the package was not vacuumed any longer. 3 days??? How disappointing. So we decided to try them as seal was shot. The plastic that each bar was sealed in were oily. The plastic was not vacuum sealed. Not sure if it's supposed to be. Flavor is ok. Kinda like shortbread cookies but grainy. Won't buy again. Got a refund. Will use that money to buy better ones.Update: the seller reached out to me to rectify the problem. He was nice. Send me some other bars as an apology. Thank you.

Better than expected. The biggest truth is that it doesnt not make you thirsty while eating it. I usually drink water with everything I eat to help me swallow - a whole bar didn't require a drink of anything!

'Emergency Food Rations' is an interesting name, probably generated to sell the product to those who wish to stock up on rations lasting a long time period. I personally use this when hiking in the hills, or up and down canyons looking for that elusive excellent fishing hole. Tasty enough, and has enough calories to keep my energy levels up. Biggest problem is it's a bit dry, so remember to carry water. There is an expiration date on the bottom of the bag, and it's a good long-enough time for those who wish to keep this in the car, truck or RV. Me? I just munch on it after peaking a hill. Or two....

I bought one package of these to try, before adding them to my emergency bag. I was also hoping to rotate the stock by using them while camping or just so busy I didn't have time to stop for a real lunch. The outer packaging was well sealed, yet easy to open. Each bar is individually wrapped as one would hope or expect. I was a little annoyed though, that the inside of the outer packaging and outside of the individually wrapped bars/cookies was oily. That makes it hard to throw one in my bag on the way out the door. As long as you don't expect a gourmet dessert, they are actually pretty good.

Great after taste I wish it was a little cheaper so I could buy more my fat a.. Has probably gained weight lol from eating these at home but u know what I will definitely buy these again and I had to try them to make sure I liked them so now I will buy more I wish there was a little discount for more you buy the more cheaper they are type of thing.

Super produit : tablette assez hydrater pour la consommer sans eau, elle ne s'effrite pas, est tendre et meilleur goût de tout les kits de marques que j'ai essayés. Je ne compare pas avec des enveloppes MRE ( Meal Ready to Eat) bien sur. Seulement des kits 72 heures, dont 2 autres comparables.Bon goût de vanille, comparable a du mélange a gâteau vanille non cuit une mélangé avec du biscuit Graham. On en mange sans y être contraint ;). C'est aussi excellent pour reprendre de l'énergie si vous avez sauté un repas.L'emballage principal est refermable et reste étanche, ce qui surclasse d'autres produits qui n'ont que les emballages individuels souvent non étanches à l'air pour conserver les rations au sec dans toutes conditions après l'ouverture. Au point ou on peut remettre la moitié d'une barre a l'intérieur pour la conserver quelques heures une fois son emballage individuel ouvert.Je recommande hautement !
