This is a nice dark walnut color, and once it's assembled, it's pretty sturdy. It's heavy enough to hold a fair amount of weight, but not too heavy to move. Assembly was a real test of patience. The instructions were vague to say the least, but we finally got it figured out and put together. Understand that this isn't a bookshelf that's gonna last more than a few years. It's fast furniture that will deteriorate over time, especially in damp climates. If you need an affordable bookshelf to get you by until you can get something better, this is perfect.

This is a nice, sturdy, heavy shelf. It goes together very easily and quickly. It holds a good amount of books without bending the shelves. This is a welcome addition to our guest room.

It was very easy to assemble. The color is very beautiful and I like it very much!
