I plugged it in and I had no lights. I tried to take a piece of plastic to shim the plug tighter, but it appears this is just cheaply made. The female and apparently has loose connections of some sort or doesn’t fit tightly over the pins on the male end! Any suggestions? I’ll probably return it.

Left turn signal quit working within a month of purchase. Changed to new cord and everything works as it should

Without doing a destructive test on it, I can't really guarantee how well made it is, but it seems pretty robust. I used a multimeter to check all combinations of the wires for continuity and to ensure that they were not shorted to any other wires. Each pin on one connector had continuity with exactly one pin on the other connector and it was the exact same pin number.It does not say in the ad where it is made, but given the grammar / misspelling errors in the ad, it's a safe bet that it was not made in the US -- probably made in China.There's nothing really special about this cable, it is just a basic cable and does the job it was supposed to do.
