I purchased this product, shortly after purchasing the trailer that required the adapter. Having no prior knowledge of the trailers existing wiring, I spent many weeks trying to isolate the problem and fix it. Lo and behold, after the return. Had closed, I finally discovered that it is in fact the product, that was causing all of my problems. Trusting that a product works properly out of the box is not always the case.

Did not work. I tried it on a couple different trucks, several different times . It popped up different messages but lights never came on. One message read, "Service Trailer Brake System", "Trailer Brakes Connected", "Service Trailer Wire". I believe that was all, possibly another, don't remember now. One trailer does have brakes, all wires look perfect, except one wire out of the brake was cut. I don't believe that would make the entire light system not work. The other trailer, all wires are in perfect shape. Both trailers for the most part have the wires running through pipe and exposed wire is thoroughly rapped in electrical tape. Neither trailer has LED lights. They are both older trailers, 1970's.I do not believe that this is a true 7 Way Blade to 6 Way Round, because it does not have anything in the center of the 7 Way Blade. Not sure if that really matters, but I've seen several other 7 Way Blade to 6 Way Round that has something in the center of the 7 Way Blade. I suspect this item is bad or not proper for what I actually need. I am trying to use this on utility trailers, not RV campers.
