The review on this router bit showed mostly good reviews so I decided to try this brand. Big mistake. I was doing some light decorative edge on an oak drawer front. I've had other cutters cut really smooth in oak. This one seemed to just tear the wood, leaving uneven ridges and a lot of edge splinters but that wasn't the worst.I had just finished my trim work and looking at the bit, something seemed odd. I shut down the router (it's table mounted) and to my horror, the screw that secures the bearing was backed out half way. I took out an allen wrench and tried to tighten it and nothing. The threads on the screw were stripped making it impossible to tighten. This could have resulted in a major injury to myself if the bearing or screw let go at 20,000 RPM. The bit was immediately returned to Amazon and will be replaced by a known brand. Maybe I got a bad one but for the future, I'm sticking with the better known brands.

Needed an odd size round over but which I couldn’t find locally. This set included all of the other bits for basically the same price I would have had to pay to order locally. Bit worked great and while likely a poor choice for regular production work, it worked great for me.

The price of this bit made it very tempting to try it out. I have paid double or more for supposedly name brand bits that are just slightly better quality than this one. It left a very clean edge, and I was able to finish my project before having to clean the bit. Sometimes the cheaper bits carbide is not as smooth and tend to build up junk on the blade faster. It also depends on the type of wood you are using on. I am using Maple which tends to be a cleaner cut. This bit appears to be well made and the carbide was very sharp with a good clean edge. I used it in a router table which gives me the best control and therefore the cleanest cuts. I was able to put a good clean round over edge on about 16 to 20 feet of board and did not notice any chattering or gouges in my cuts.I think these bits are worth the money and I would buy from this brand again.
