great tubes. Made a copper wire spiral to hang them on a post. First rain, froze in the tube, no problem.

It’s a great size and the large print is very helpful to view from my kitchen window. Easy to empty also.

just what I ordered and just what was expected. Fit the holder I had so all is good. Lots cheaper than buying a whole new rain gage (not that it rains on the west coast of florida anymore)

Be careful with this in the cold weather. They break very easily in cold temperatures. It doesn't have to be freezing either.

This is NOT a little glass vial. This one is large. Make sure your holder will accommodate it. Good & appears sturdy glass.

Good replacement for broken glass. Note you need to dump the water out when temperature drops below freezing!
