6 pack of wrapping paper cutters that come in an assortment of colors. The blade is protected by plastic making it difficult to cut yourself while using. The blades are very sharp and make gift wrapping go by in half the time it takes versus using scissors. The cut is straight and does not rip and tear horizontally while gliding across like dull scissors sometimes do.

These are the whip for quickly and cleanly cutting wrapping paper off the roll without having to hunt all over the house for the one pair of "good" scissors that your kid was probably using to cut metal/wire/rocks or something anyway. I keep mine in the wrapping paper tote so they're always at the ready and actually look forward to gift wrapping this year.

I've never seen this kind of thing before and all the other tools that claim they're easy to cut wrapping paper have never really worked for me. This one is awesome and now I have a whole set so I can share with my friends and let them know how great this works. When trying to wrap presents and cutting off a large piece off of the main spool, there's nothing better. Cuts sharp and straight. Also, when you aren't using it it has a kind of guard so that you don't cut yourself on a sharp blade coming out. It's ergonomic and works awesomely. I wish I had this every other year when wrapping gifts!

This is a set of six plastic hockey-stick-shaped paper cutters (it's even labelled like that on the box!). There isn't anything fancy about them, but they work, and there are enough of them in this pack that there are backups when one goes missing, as typically happens to me when I am wrapping gifts. A razor blade located at the turn in the hockey stick does the cutting and a little guard beneath it slides under the paper being cut to protect the surface below the paper. These are not replaceable blades, but the six pack should make them last a while. Two of the cutting sticks came with little plastic protectors on the ends of the guards; I'm not sure they weren't all provided with protective end caps - seems like they'll go missing pretty easily. I tried one of them out with a sheet of standard weight wrapping paper and with a piece of lightweight cardboard. It worked with both, but it was much harder going on the cardboard. It also worked just dandy to slit open mail and to remove annoying sewn in cloth labels on clothes, pillows, etc. (After testing this out on today's mail, I realize I'm definitely going to keep one of them in my Incoming Mail basket.) A nice feature is the long hockey stick handle, which makes it easy to stabilize your hand while cutting.
