Better than i expected... Purchased the large one with 3 palms and using inside. I just love it. I did purchase another pot to hold a bucket and put the base inside the bucket with gravel around it and then i used moss to cover all that up.

Better than expected. I ordered the 8.5 foot palm trees for indoors only since I live in SD and they wouldn't hold up well in the wind. They look really real and my daughters boyfriend even asked if it needs to be watered (don't think he's ever seen a real live palm tree but thought it was funny enough to share) I did purchase pots for them on amazon also that I am going to fill with either black or white rock. For the price I would for sure purchase these again and would highly recommend. The box did come pretty beat up but the trees were just fine. Overall very happy with my purchase and would buy again.

These trees are amazing for $100 each, but care and augmentation are needed for best long term results. First, you need to purchase some good pots for these trees to enhance their beauty and stability in higher winds. The small unattractive pots that come with the trees are basically unusable for outdoor use. The white pots we purchased for this project are 20" tall and 16" in diameter at a cost of $60 each. We filled the pots with white river stones from Mexico at a cost of $25 per pot. We put some stone in the bottom of the pots first and then placed the included palm pots on top of the stone base, and filled the rest of the pots with stone to give the palm trees another 8 to 10 inch boost in height and plenty of weight and stability. This allows the palm trees to be well over 9 feet tall with one branch positioned straight up. it's a terrific look for a total of only $185 per tree. We live in Northeast Ohio, so the trees are only out in the elements for 4 months a year. Care must be taken to easily remove the fronds from the trunks into a shaded storage area and away from the direct sun for a long periods of time, or when your not enjoying your outdoor oasis, pool or entertaining guests. This is very easy to accomplish. We bring the fronds in and underneath our covered porch when our pool complex is not in use or if we know a big storm is coming in. I know this seems like a hassle and hear some of you groaning, but if you want these beautiful trees to last, some common sense care is needed. I see some negative reviews about color loss and durability, but if you live Arizona and you think these trees will look great baking in the sun 200 days a year and they're weathering storms, they won't stay looking good for longer than a year or two at best. So, yes these trees are great for the price, but care is needed.

If you look at these photos you can see the difference when you prop up the original pot inside a taller pot and add some decorative rocks. I placed two pieces of 2” by 6” wood in the bottom of the new pot and filled around with crushed gravel and then the decorative black rocks on top. I have 8’ ceilings and with the branches arranged it is much taller and looks better. The one you will get is the tree with the black pot not the other one next to it. That is one I already had. Easy to set up and was packaged very well. The branches are attached to the top piece and it just slides into the trunk. Then you just arrange the branches how you like. The branches can be twisted and bent so you can shape it however you think it looks best and most natural. All in all I love these new trees. I purchased two of them and the other is not in these photos. The pots I purchased from home goods. They are made of bamboo and woven together to look as you see here. When you place them in a pot the tree looks much bigger. I would definitely purchase from this seller again.

I absolutely LOVE these palm trees! I’m in zone 6A so to purchase real palm trees at this height would mean I have to lug them inside in the winter time or risk them dying. I took a chance on these and I just placed an order for two more because they are so much better than I had imagined. The branches are full and you get 18 of them which you can be and move to increase the fullness of the tree. The trunk is a realistic looking one and nice and solid.Super easy to put together too!Tip: they do come in a little cement base so I recommend either burying this part in the ground, which is what I did or put it inside a planter with dirt or rocks to keep it nice and steady. 😊
