This pitching machine works well enough, and our nephew enjoys using it. He uses it with tennis balls, and also for practicing hitting baseballs. He is 4 yrs old. I like the various aiming positions there are, and it has different shooting speeds. It works by plugging it into an outlet- we have not tried it with batteries- but that is an option. I feel it was a good purchase for the money, and does what I need it to, but it is pretty loud.

I set this up with the tennis retrieve net the same company sells and can work on drills and skills indoors and out! No, it doesn't put the ball out to you like a $5,000 machine but it DOES allow you to work on skills and drills. I love it!

This thing was shockingly bad. Incredibly weak.

I’ve had this a while now and I am pleasantly surprised! Great for gaining repetition and practice. Can be powered by a chord or battery, this is great if you’re wanting to bring it to tennis courts!! It has held up great and is amazing for the price!!

It is good for beginners. I would suggest getting attachments to be able to load more balls, 12 balls go fast

Got this machine to help with kids tennis practice. It feeds the balls pretty well with good break time in between each feed. It lobs the ball at a slow pace. It is a little loud but it's not bad if you play it outdoor. Not strong enough to shoot the balls across the net to the other side, but works well with my small kids and I don't need to worry about they get hurt accidentally.

I'm not usually a very blunt reviewer but this one deserves it. It's literally a piece of junk and not worth the wait. I held out hope for it and opened the box. It was literally back inside the box less than 10 minutes later. Putting it together is "easy" but the pieces don't fit together very well and it leaves gaps at the connection points. The tabs don't snap to form a tight seal. If you get lucky and the tabs do happen to allow for the pieces to come together (again, they don't snap) the heat in the summer will make it bow out and it will create a gap your first summer. The name indicates that it can hold baseball and tennis balls. I suppose if you hold your hand at the opening and force each ball into the launch area, it might work. However, that really takes away the need for the little ball ramp. The opening to the launch area will not smoothly allow for regular sized balls to drop down into the launch area. The motor was very weak and I thought it was going to die. So you can't expect it to launch very far, should you actually get a ball into the launch area. Save yourself some frustration and buy something else.
