I wasn’t sure what to expect with these pods. I know they are advertised as motorcycle pods and I am absolutely sure they would work great in that application. However I used these to add speakers to the walls in my shop. They not only look pretty awesome but also worked perfectly. They were easy to use and install. I used JL audio coaxial 6.5” speakers and they fit perfect. Added benefit of using these the way I did made them securely mounted but also made them sound very good. Basically creating a small enclosure. Definitely a good item and affordable.

Some items could be built "better" but at a higher price, but does their intended purpose really benefit from that "improvement"? In this case I'd say any "higher quality" would be a waste as these perfect satisfy their intender purpose.- The thickness of material, shape, and finish show a good quality mold and process was used to produce consistent parts. Perfect intersect of quality and price.- My application is slightly off the intended use. While I will be adapting speakers they will be mounted onto a small Stereo Guitar Amp that would benefit from slightly larger speakers that angled to fire off to the sides instead of straight ahead. This will provide improved Stereo separation. These adaptors will facilitate the angle mounting and by spacing the speakers slightly off the baffle board this will provide room for the larger magnet structure of the larger speakers. For my use, these adaptors are like custom made parts to fit my needs.

Got black and the paint job is well done with a nice-looking finish. Will need some sort of protection put on it like ceramic polish. Has a thick wall/build and is light in weight but solid in structure. Holes for speaker are not predrilled or marked in anyway. Was a bit bulkier than I expected it to be so the area I was hoping to place it is not big enough. (Kick panel 65 Pontiac) Will mount nicely on a speaker box or under seats (If space allows). I have a set or 6.5" Pioneer speakers which fit in it. Well-made enclosures. If handy you can take a Dremel and open up the hole to fit a bit wider speaker or to add lights or what have you. Is solid enough to be played around with or make alterations. (Size 12 boot on pics for comparison of size)

These angled speaker pods are strong and the gloss finish looks great. The speaker holes need to be trimmed to fit Pioneer 6.5 inch speakers. Maybe some other 6.5 inch speakers will fit without modification? The hole is about 1/2 inch too small before trimming. Trimming the hole to a larger diameter takes a bit of time and increases the overall installation difficulty. The completed product looks good and the angled design helps direct sound in your preferred direction. The base on these pods is fairly large (almost 10 inch diameter), so make sure your install location has a flat surface large enough to mount these.

Nice speaker pods that worked good for my boat. Easy to attach to flat panels and mount speakers into. Good deal compared to other options.

I liked them so much I bought a 2nd pair. These plastic speaker baffle mounts provide a solid mount and protection for 6.5" speakers. They come with an adhesive foam tape to keep the seal and rattle under control. The little airspace these provide help with the mid bass and mid range frequencies. They also allow you to direct the speakers where you want within reason. I used these on a custom built speaker box for a golf cart. I like the rigidity and strength of the material. They are very well painted and quite shiny too.

These are very nice, much nicer than expected. The claim is that they are painted and if so, they did an incredible job painting them as the finish is smooth and glossy. The plastic is thinner than I like (see picture of bottom), but that can be dampened by sound deadener.They come with mounting hardware and adhesive backed foam tape to seal them when installing. They were wrapped in plastic and foam to prevent damage and they arrived in perfect condition. They don't have mounting holes on the speaker mounting side but this is good since 6.5" speakers vary.All in all these are great quality and good value.
