  • 【Improve Speaker Performance】-- Wooden speaker enclosures are intended to enhance speaker systems' audio quality and bass response. Wood can capture a wide range of sounds and resist regular sound-dampening obstacles. Being made of Solid Brazilian Pine Wood, it's easy to finish too -- just wipe on or spray a clear coat to really make the wood come alive. There's no limit to customize the look: tinted colors, unique stains, it's all up to you. (Please be careful with the wood burrs!)
  • 【Durable & Adaptable】-- In terms of maintenance, wood has a long lifespan and won't deteriorate. It can show off the awesome aspects of various musical instruments played through your cabinet’s speakers and amplifiers. The sound in your living space will be richer if you choose speakers with a wooden cabinet.
  • 【High Value for Wooden Speaker Box】-- One of the greatest building materials that sound aficionados can purchase is wood since it's being naturally acoustic. Wood is energetic, resonant, and enthusiastically conveys vibrations. The sound quality of a speaker cabinet constructed of wood is superb.
  • 【Come with Sound-absorbing Cotton】-- High-quality sound-absorbing cotton may muffle sound waves and lessen the speaker's strong vibrations' impact on the speaker's structural integrity. There is adhesive on the back to stick it, and you will not worry about the displacement of the sound-absorbing cotton.
  • 【Size of Speaker Enclosure】-- 8 Inches Speaker Enclosure(235mm x 235mm x 160mm/ 9.25" x 9.25" x 6.30", Outer Diameter: 222mm / 8.74", Inner Diameter: 183mm / 7.20") NOTE: Please allow slightly measuring deviation due to manual measurement. And please check the sizes of your speaker before ordering.

Features & Benefits
A solid, balanced speaker cabinet achieves minimal distortion and carries consistent amplification. Wooden materials maximize speaker performance, capture a wide range of sounds and resist regular sound-dampening obstacles. Speakers can be constructed from a variety of materials, but wood exemplifies your sound’s finest qualities.
Advantages of Using Wood in Speakers
1. Wood is Rigid
High-density cabinets have higher efficiency, and they won’t distort bass waves. Because wood is rigid while also being flexible, it grants bass waves freedom of passage while amplifying warmer tones.
2. Wood is Dense
The hearty noise music-lovers prioritize can be pinpointed by going with wood. Dense wood absorbs mechanical pressures, vibrations and other noises. Because woodwork contains a unique, complex interior, it captures outlying sounds while permitting the passage of regular sound waves. It protects sound energies at certain frequencies.
3. Wood is Resonant
Wood gives sounds the ability to resonate. If you knock on other materials, you'll be met with a 'dead' noise. Other cabinets simply block out dynamic sound, whereas wooden cabinets reflect and amplify a song's warmer aspects. At the same time , a wooden cabinet won't allow the passage of sound distortions. It'll reduce the inconsistencies, capturing irregularities while resonating a song's quality points.

Suited it's purpose, gave me a portable good sounding cab for my mini tube head. The only complaints I have to say is the thumb tacks aren't strong enough for the wood. I jammed in there. I'll probably order something that works better like screw caps and maybe a nicer material for the front.

I put a cheap pair of coaxial speakers in them, sound pretty good. Was surprised at how much bass they carried for such small boxes.

Very nice quality speaker box.We did a preliminary test and found it very easy to mount in a 5" speaker. 5.25" would probably also work easily. We are using this for testing, but the wood is nice enough that you could use these to build a home system.

The boxes look kinda cheap, but they aren't super expensive, so I suppose that's understandable. The real issue I had is that one of the two I ordered had a big crack right on the front, and when I ordered a replacement, the replacement has an even worse crack!!! 2/3 of them came cracked. That's terrible. If it weren't for the cracks, I suppose they would have been fine. Not nice enough to try to order again, though, so I will be seeking a full refund.

I am in the process of assembling a backup bass amp/preamp system to leave at my partner's house so I don't have to schlep any more stuff than I have to (we alternate rehearsals at our respective houses).I bought a Schoeder 10L lightweight 10" speaker and planned to use this 8" box as a mid-range bass speaker along with the Schroeder. It was very easy to "assemble" the box. I have done enough woodworking projects to know that it's generally a good idea to drill "starter" holes for the various screws. Doing so usually avoids accidentally splitting the wood, especially on lightweight woods, of which this box is certainly constructed.Other than that, there were no issues in assembly. I glued the insulation in place which kept it from getting caught in the drill bit while drilling the various speaker mounting pilot holes. They provided all the necessary hardware which was nice, even throwing in a few extra screws. My sole criticism is that the box was over-priced for its material and size, but I am finding that is generally true for just about every speaker box I have looked at in the last few years. It could be the increased cost of wood and the increased tariffs for foreign goods.Other than that, it sounds good and should last a long time.I don't agree with any of the negative reviews that criticize the quality. I think for the price, it is of sufficiently high quality for the purpose intended. I would certainly buy another one if I needed another small 8" enclosure.

This wood is not a bad product. Predrill your holes. Do not try to just run screws in with out doing that first. Yes it will split if you do not predrill. Its the kind of wood used. I am very pleased with mine. Stained up quite nicely as well. The included baffling worked nicely. It is backed with an adhesive, but I also used a spray adhesive inside the box. Trim your pieces down before you try to apply them. Great product for the price!

The front of the enclosure arrived with a crack from the speaker mounting hole to the bottom of the board. This looks and feels more like a toy than a piece of audio equipment. The enclosure does not have a large enough volume or porthole unless you are JUST wanting some SUBTLE bass out of a low powered bookshelf system or the like. If you crank it up too high the thing sounds like you are lighting fireworks in a tin can and the air movement through the very small porthole sputters aggressively. The plastic insert for the porthole is also EXTREMELY thin and flimsy, definitely less than 1mm thick.

These are nice, solid wood (not MDF) speaker boxes. I purchased 3 of these (2-5” and 1-8”) for a custom Bluetooth speaker project and they worked out perfectly. Since they are real wood boxes, they are super easy to paint or stain to suit your taste. One thing I will recommend is that you pre-drill all your screw holes. Since it’s real wood, if you don’t pre-drill your screw holes, you are very likely going to split the wood when screwing down the speakers/terminal block. Boxes may require light sanding before applying paint, stain or lacquer to achieve a superior finish. Very happy with this purchase.
