I have not yet installed this actuator and ordered it for my Overland Suburban as a spare part. I did test it but supplying the needed voltage to make sure it works as it should...... and it does.Highly Recommended.

My 4 wheel drive indicator kept showing the wrong drive mode randomly. I traced it to a bad encoder which is inside of this motor. It’s a tight squeeze and you may need some special wrenches but I was able to swap this transfer case motor out on a 2005 Silverado Z71 without removing the front driveshaft. Takes a lot of wiggling but got the job done with this replacement. Works great! Showing the correct drive mode and switches through the different drives correctly.

Last winter I noticed that my 4WD wouldn’t engage. The winter season was coming to the end so I kind of forgot about it. With winter approaching I figured I better deal with it now before I actually need it. Thankfully it was a smooth replacement. It fit perfectly. My 4WD engages smoothly now. It’s a relief to know I’m ready for whatever weather the next couple of months may bring.

I was excited to review this for my 2004 Z71 Tahoe. I was able to get time tonight to finally put this on and it fit perfect. I have never had 4WD Low sense I had the truck and it shifts right into it now. It came with 2 new bolts for install or you can use the ones you take off. The part feels very solid and I will update down the road on longevity if needed. One solid tip is make sure you are in neutral on the part and truck before install and if you do not know watch some YouTube Videos first. God Bless, Richard W.
