Hard to use and not very moldable. Even using the tool it was hard to bed them into place.

These were not my favorite when I get them because they're just a piece of mesh that's somewhat flimsy so they can be "crushed" with enough force. However, my weepholes have angles to them so I needed to cut my weephole covers at the tops and bottom so they could fit into the hole. This type of covers is perfect for that. I was able to cut each in a custom cut that allowed them to fully fit into the hole and keep pests out. They look good enough and no one will know they're there unless they look for them, so I'd say they're a success.Know that they can be crushed with the provided tool if you force them too hard, making them look somewhat silly, so be careful with that. Otherwise, these are the ticket as probably the most customizable types of weephole covers.

I’m in Texas where we have all manner of little creepy crawlers year-round. I don’t have an issue with bugs, spiders, silverfish, etc. out in the great outdoors but I hate finding them in my home. My son lives nearby and he has found SCORPIONS in his home! Mama don’t wanna encounter any of those. These little stainless steel Weep Hole Covers are just the ticket for blocking entry through those little gaps between some of the lowest bricks on your walls. I understand the purpose of weep holes as far as reducing humidity inside one’s exterior walls. These stainless steel covers offer the perfect compromise.

At about $0.50 per square it's a bit expensive, but no terribly so.Square size is great and hole size is perfect as a mouse/insect (but not ant) barrier. We are using some of these in one of our vehicles to block the access holes that allow mice to get into the HVAC system.Bottom line, very pleased. And the inclusion of the small "putty knife" is a nice touch.5 stars.

I've used these in the past. The little tool makes them easier to insert. It does seem to provide a barrier to small critters making their way inside the house.

TLDR: Works as intended to keep mice (and other critters) out and bends easily with the included tool. This set is great for exactly what I needed, easy to bend steel weep hole covers that come in a big pack. The tool they provide fits it perfectly and make the process of getting these to fit in between bricks a quick process. We've used these (along with some repellants) to keep mice out of a house that had been sitting empty for a few months. When we first took over the house, we had to clean out a bit of mouse dropping from the garage. After getting everything cleaned, we made sure we didn't see any mice in the walls and then got these in the holes to keep them out. It's worked great for the last month and no need droppings have been found. Overall, great for what they do and keeps the critters away.

We have many retaining walls around the house and I see chipmunks and even small field mice making holes within retaining wall to make a home for themselves. This steel mesh is perfect for covering those holes to prevent those rodents from entering. I just have to make sure they are not already inside before blocking the holes with these mesh steel screen. Also appreciate the hand tool that can be used to push and fold the mesh screen. I wish the screen was a bit bigger but it will do for now.** DISCLAIMER: I received this product for free through Vine program in exchange for my honest opinion, and that is what I have offered here.
