You don't want to seal your brick weep holes. The ventilation is critical for the health of your house. But those weep holes also provide the perfect opportunity for small critters (bugs and mice) to enter. These covers are easy to insert, stay in place, and prevent the critters from accessing.

The steel wool molded into the spaces and the stainless steel squares were perfect for filling and covering the holes around where the AC piping goes into the side of the house. Also had a big water tank pulled from outside (put a tankless heater on the wall) and didn't realize tree rats were getting into the house walls (oh great) through the now empty tank piping holes. This kit worked perfectly.

I love the way this steel wool does the job! It keeps mice out of the barn we’ve had issues with, prior. After the cleanup job, this gives me a piece of mind.There is a sufficient amount to cover what I needed it for and I still have leftover.It’s easy to use and mold as needed. This is a must particularly on a farm. It’s versatile. It’s great for mice or bugs. They stay away from this stuff!Highly recommend!I hope you find my review helpful.

These weep hole covers are a great idea! Long story short: When I moved here to the USA almost 30 years ago and specially here to Cypress Texas where the weather is mostly warm or hot I never understood why on earth we have holes in the outside brick wall where anything could crawl in. We have so many type of ants, roaches, spiders insects and bugs, snakes and the list goes on...So after reading about it and understanding why these holes are there unfortunately had to come to a conclusion that I cant cover them. But the idea of bugs getting into our house was to much. So I was looking for a solution. And there was NONE!! This was way back. We were told we cant cover them we needed something that can breath. So we finally put copper mesh in it!!This is my second package of weep hole covers. I already got one before but there were only 20 in them and no mesh. So I needed more! This package contains 30 stainless steel covers. They are easily bendable and rust proof. They can be easily cut to measure. We havent had to cut for ours. These will keep out roaches and medium to bigger spiders but not ants or smaller bugs. This is why we had to put the steel whole in it( came with it). We just made sure to pull it apart a bit so it can breath and let air circulate! The other set didn't come with any mesh so we bought the copper mesh for it.I see the new houses are now built with these covers built in! Which is a must have!!!

we had two mice in our home recently, and despite catching them (humane traps :) ), we wanted the peace of mind that no others would find their way in. so far so good, and i love how maleable but strong this kit is

I like that no matter how wide or narrow the weep holes around the house were, the stainless steel were esy to get in the opening. The steel wool to fill in the opening is a great idea.

Easy to use in a variety of circumstances, and the steel wool keeps insects and rodents out without blocking necessary ventilation.
