These airplanes come as flat baseball sized cards. You punch them out and assemble. They are pretty small, but easy to use. The kids were underwhelmed by these.

These are the exact quality one may expect for a huge pack of foam planes for under $10. They don't last long but they are a lot of fun.5 Stars

Good for freebies fro kids at avaition events. These are not packaged individually. You must adhere a nose weight to each foam piece -- there is a slot for this. So time consuming to get ready to distribute. There are multiple patterns and colors for both girls and boys, and they fly okay.

To start, 60 of these for 9 dollars seems like a really good value. For party favors for that price, you won't find much better - even the cheap junk we always end up with from the party stores in every party bag costs more than this, and isn't as good.Pictured is what you get - 60 mini square sheets of the airplanes in various colors that you pop out and assemble. There's a separate box with all of the plastic nose pieces. They assemble very easily, and even though they are small and cheap, seem sturdy enough. The plastic piece for the nose is necessary to make it fly better, but that can be a little tricky to get on without ruining the cardboard. They don't fly real far (they are tiny) but once the plastic piece is on, they fly far enough to keep a small child happy for a bit. They are TINY. I know measurements are in the description, but the pictures are definitely misleading. They clearly imposed the airplanes into pictures of the kids, and did so in a way that made them look bigger. There's only one picture that actually shows the size in relation to a child, and the rest are unfair editing.I do wish there was a better way to package them for single use, like a plastic sleeve/bag. In a gift bag, the parts could easily pop out and come apart. Also, the plastic piece is necessary, but if you're giving these as a party favor in a bag with other things, there's no way to keep the plastic with the plane sheet so people know it should come together - or where it goes at all. I don't think anyone would know what to do with that plastic piece unless you show them, and if giving these as a valentine or a party favor, there's no way to show them and it will probably get thrown out - and then the plane won't work as well.

We are learning about force and motion in my classroom. These airplanes came in handy when the students were able to apply force to them to get them moving. We were able to discuss the movement and weight of the planes. This was a fun way to teach and students were able to take one home.

While you get a lot of planes and all of the aircraft look good, they are too small to get enough lift to fly under most conditions successfully. This can be pretty frustrating for the kids. If you are going to purchase these items, make sure that you are trying to fly them indoors in a location with still air. If you are going to give these to elementary school students, you may also want to have some older students or adults on hand to help them learn how to fly things.

I'm responsible for a STEM activity for my daughter's girlscout brownies troop and wanted to do something hands-on and doable in 1 hour. These little planes are perfect! There are so many included in this pack that each scout can have at least 2 to experiment with. The small size is perfect for the kids to work with quickly and the separate parts let the kids assemble and disassemble the planes to figure out how each piece affects the flight of the plane. And since these are just foam, it's easy for the kids to cut them or add tape/stickers to see how they affect flight.
