After years of frustration with a really crummy cabinet door install I decided to actually look for a product that would help me finally repair the situation. I had tried Liquid Nails, wood putty, epoxy, wood plugs, wads of toothpicks glued into the crumbling particle board and nothing worked. This worked perfectly! I will tell you that there are no instructions included with this product, but given a minute or two I am sure you will figure it out. If not, write to me and I will do my best to explain. Honestly, the first time in almost 20 years that that cabinet door works and hangs like it should. I highly recommend this product. I even have spares now in case some of the other doors fail, too.

I looked online for this and similar products and probably was a bit impatient but I should have looked at the photos closer before purchasing. As others have mentioned, the screw holes are a bit small and required me to drill out a larger diameter for my cabinet hinge mounting screw size. While it wasn't difficult, it was just tricky in an Manhattan apartment to secure the plate while I drilled. The plates themselves are VERY thin but the repair worked. My hinge still flexes a tiny bit but that's mainly because of the damaged holes underneath. I would look for a thicker plate at a local store ( if avail) and make sure screws fit the pre-drilled holes. Photo note : I should have pulled the protective blue plastic off first so excuse the blue remnants. I'll clean it up tomm.

Screws got stripped from the cabinet hinges. I filled the holes with a mixture of wood glue and sawdust. After waiting 24 hours, it drilled out the original holes and used these to reinforce the door. It’s solid and works perfectly! The holes on the bracket were a perfect match.The only suggestion would be for some shorter screws to attach the bracket to the door where there is no hinge. I was afraid the supplied screws might pierce through the cabinet face.

After years of our kitchen doors drooping and just plain falling off, these little guys are a great solution. Easy for unhandy husbands to figure out and execute the chore. Very pleased and my kitchen looks so much better.
