Sure I've seen packing blankets before? But not this brand and grade? Honestly on opening the heavy box...These look more like high quality bedding than simple packing blankets? Ok this may be a guy assessment but the color depth and uniformity and contrasting stitching...imho....quite rich looking for a packing blanket?But as far as a packing blanket, excellent thickness, highest quality! I'll wash them after moving and see if I can sell a few for interior decorating use? I ask, imagine these with a designer label..... and the expectedprice....just say'n :)

Ideal for putting things in the back of a pick up truck.It protects your valuables or if you’re concerned about your trip, and it will certainly protect it as well.Much better than the thin pads that are out there.

Very thick and sturdy. Most I looked at were too thin. These are heavy. Box is heavy - get another person to help lift it in from the porch. Not washable (as per the tag) but definitely re-usable.

Purchased these to wrap some furniture for a small move. Quality at 65 pounds per dozen was quite good and effective in protecting the furniture. The problem was that the blankets had a terrible odor that was a cross between crude petroleum and cigar smoke. Further, they were incredibly dusty. The furniture I covered (including wood pieces) picked up the odor and the dust and had to be thoroughly cleaned. I would have returned these if I would have had the time for a reorder of another moving blanket.

No One likes to move. I had purchased a few moving blankets from Home Depot years ago. They were expensive and pretty small. These are Great size, seem durable and protect furniture while moving, and hopefully storing furniture. I would buy them again, However hope not to move again for a while. Moving is the Pitts

Great blankets. Nice and thick and they hold up as well as any other budget moving blankets with heavy daily use.I install replacement doors and windows. The blankets are mostly used to protect flooring from falling debris/dropped tools.Like all moving blankets I have used, they rip and shred pretty easily. I always cover the blankets with 4mil plastic sheeting while ripping old windows and doors. After I know my mess making is complete, I roll the heavy debris and trash in the plastic and am left with a nice clean blanket to install and finish on.
