I was disappointed in these. Not only did it not reach the clog, but when I pulled it back out of the drain, little bits of orange plastic tore off and fell into the drain. Kind of counter-productive. It did come with a metal clog clearing tool that worked slightly better. At least it didn't leave bits of itself in my sink. I won't buy these again and don't recommend them.

These hair drain clog remover tools are a lifesaver! They’re easy to use and incredibly effective at snagging hair and other debris that can clog drains. The flexible design allows you to reach deep into pipes, ensuring a thorough clean. The 6-pack offers great value, and the tools are durable enough to withstand multiple uses. I’ve used them on kitchen, bathroom, and shower drains, and they’ve consistently cleared clogs without any fuss.If you're tired of dealing with slow drains, these tools are a must-have.

I can confirm what most others have left in reviews:1) The device is easy to use, just shove it down your sink/tub drain, jiggle around, pull out, and gag from nasty hair clumps that you can wipe off before repeating the process a few times until nothing else comes out.2) I did not use the object clutching device (silver) that comes with the plastic drain decloggers (orange) and cannot speak for it.3) This device works way better than liquid/draino solutions and is environmentally better to boot.4) Yes, the plastic prongs can catch in the drain and occasionally snap, but as long as you are patient and not jerking crazily it will happen minimally. Only two prongs broke off despite repeated (5-7) uses on both my sink and tub drain; I rinsed the device off and foresee several more uses before too many break off to be effective. However, there are 5 decloggers so even if you break too many prongs or don't want to clean the device off, you'll still get several uses out of this purchase.5) Overall a great deal for the price (cheaper than a single bottle of draino and can be reused several times).

Overall, a 4-star product. My bathroom sink water was backing up all week when I was brushing my teeth. It was gross and annoying. I ordered this product and was able to fix my problem in 2 days thanks to speedy delivery and easy use of this product. As other reviewers stated (and I overlooked previously), this product's length is large, and the package comes with all 7 items bent in half. As such, you have to straighten out the product before use; with my attempt, I was a little aggressive, and because of the cheap plastic, it almost broke. I was worried about it breaking in my drain, but it held sturdy. The product does what it has to, but definitely is not durable for multiple uses (I also did not want to re-use the tool I had just used because the stuff from my sink was gross). That being said, it's a cheap product, so recycling/tossing after each use and purchasing again if needed is not unreasonable.

This is an honest review from a typical, normal, lay person. I’m married to a typical, normal, lay wife. Lay wife, however, loses hair faster than a formula one car going top speed. She always wrote it off as, “iT’s nOrmAL tO loSe a fEw hUnDred pIeCes of hAiR.” To avoid conflict, I let it go. Then, the shower started slowing down. Didn’t think much of it until it just got worse and worse and worse. After a while the plunger stopped working. The liquid clog remover that rhymes with gain-o gave it temporary relief- and by temporary I mean 1 quick shower before going back to swimming in a lagoon of shampoo, conditioner, and all other sorts of hair product.I finally became fed up with it and the constant waddling of water in the shower. I searched through Amazon and stumbled upon these. At first glance I didn’t think much of them. However, for the price and in a moment of desperation I said to hell with it and ordered it. You get exactly what is pictured: the metal rods with the claws and the plastic snake things.I unsuccessfully tried with the metal part. Quite frankly I just used it completely wrong. That thing is handy if you lose a ring or even an earring and you need some claws to grab it. For those purposes it will work phenomenally, I’m sure. For what I needed, however, it would not be efficient whatsoever. At first I thought of giving up. I figured if the fancy metal plunger didn’t work, then those flimsy little plastic things wouldn’t do anything either.Ladies and gents: LET. ME. TELL. YOU.The orange suckers aren’t flimsy at all actually. They’re quite firm and you really have to work to send them down the right way. Once you find the adequate opening though, they slip down quite easily. There are opposite spikes facing the opposite end. Those babies are the ones that do the magic and believe me- THEY WORK. I put this thing down the shower drain and when I tried to pull, it was stuck. I said oh hell no, and I pulled that sucker as hard as I could. When I tell you I yanked a wad of hair as thick as the girl from the ring movie, you wouldn’t believe me. I called my wife over and made her stare at what she caused. She laughed uncontrollably at me.I went back for a second and third time and the hair just kept coming and coming. It almost seemed endless, but it did eventually stop. I pulled, without exaggerating, about 3 lbs of hair, goo, gunk, and half the scalp of the girl from the ring.I honestly don’t know why anyone would give this anything less than 5 stars. Whoever did probably didn’t know how to use it or didn’t do it correctly. I’m positive this few dollar investment saved me HUNDREDS from the plumber. If you have any slow drains and you think hair is your problem, give this a try. I promise it won’t disappoint! Happy clearing!
