I sucked up something in my vacuum cleaner and I couldn't get it out of the hose. As soon as I received Dr. Pen's draining cleaning tool, I opened it and put it to work. And just like that, I got my vacuum cleaner back in working condition. It was a bit hard for me to push down and hold the hose at the same time though.

Easy to use and worked as intended, easily grabbed my husband's wedding ring he dropped down the drain, along with a lot of other slimy, hairy stuff. Perfect!

Excellent tool but too stiff, would recommend for pipes 1” in diameter minimum. For sink and shower drains this tool was way too stiff to fit along elbows. I tried twisting and turning but got a smaller one at CVS or ACE hardware. Still keeping this one’s for heavier jobs around the house.

Okay just to let you know I have purchased two of these. One for my house and one for my boyfriend's condo. My boyfriend has long hair and keeps it well maintained but has been complaining about his dream from his shower / tub draining very slowly so I purchased one for him to keep it his condo. And I decided to test it out while he was painting his living room I snaked the tub in the bathroom and pulled out what looks like Chewbacca's cousin... ha ha, the people with long hair can definitely relate. I called him into the bathroom and showed him what I pulled out of the drain and he was totally surprised. And then I cleaned out the tub and tested it out filled up the tub and wouldn't you know that water drained so perfectly it definitely was not slow it went down with ease the clogs were removed and now he is a functioning shower that he is very happy with. I will say the quality of this product is really nice I like the fact that it's wrapped in a heavy coating and the trigger mechanism to open the claw was fairly easy to use as well. Like I said I have two now, one at his house and one at mine.

This product comes with the gabber and a plastic hair remover. Both you can use to remove hair from the drain. My only problem was that I could not remove the stopper from the drain. It would not twist off. So the grabber was too large to fit underneath the stopper. It would have worked perfectly if it fit. So I had to use the plastic hair remover that had ridges on it to remove the hair. It fit well and took out all the hair. My sink drained perfectly after the removal. For the price and my problem I could have bought the plastic piece separately. I wish I knew. But I think the grabber may be useful for other projects.

The claw did exactly what it was advertised to do! I had dropped a nail polish brush in my sink and I was looking for something that could get it out. When I saw this product and read the reviews, I figured it was worth a try. It completely did what I had hoped it would do. It’s nice to have a product like this, in case anything drops in your sink or in a hard to reach place. The claw is really tough, even though it’s small and it has a good gripping handle. Very pleased with my purchase!

A bunch of toys went down my bathtub drain (they were hard plastic tubes that come with Crayola bath crayons - which btw you should never buy). Total disaster - I thought we were never going to get them out! With this tool, I was able to fish all of them out by myself in a couple minutes. A miracle!! It was SO SO easy to use. The grabber at the end is really powerful; it exceeded my expectations. I was able to pull out a bunch of globs of gunk/hair as well. I highly recommend this if you have something stuck down your drain!

I didn’t realize how long this was when I bought it. I saw the length, but I didn’t realize how long 5+ feet is in comparison to such a little claw. It’s a long, very flexible rod with a very small claw on the end. Anything you can grab with the claw, you can hardly see when it’s 5 feet away. It’s also hard to grab something that small with such a flexible pole. The button you push to open the claw can be a little stiff, but it loosens with use. I haven’t used this much, and it didn’t serve my original purpose. I should’ve gotten a shorter one, which is what I’d recommend, unless you have a specific reason for needing a strangely unwieldy grabbing claw.I gave it 4 stars because if you need this size claw, it seems well-made and sturdy. It performs its job well. The best thing about it, however, is that my kid loves it. He uses it for all kinds of weird things that I’d never thing of—or have any reason to be doing. He grabs leaves off a trees, uses it as an antennae for lots of forts and costumes, tries to pick up little things with it as a game, and I believe he and his friends have even invented a claw tag game.So, while I don’t think most, if any, people come here to buy a “tag claw,” nor was that the manufacturer’s intended purpose, it has served a purpose, and served it well. It’s worth a lot if it entertains 6 year olds for an afternoon with no tears, so regardless of what I purchased it for, I’ve gotten my money’s worth and love it.
