27” is a good length, probably not necessary to be that long. I used this for the bathtub. After removing the stopper there were 4 holes for the device to go down the drain pipe. The plastic is really hard and does not bend, and squeezing through the holes was difficult. I think I loosened the hair but the triangle grippers did not pull the hair up like advertised. I mostly used my fingers, which was disgusting. Not worth it.

This is the best drain declogger I have used.The plastic barbs hold up well. It was hard to get it down my tub drain at first and harder to pull out, but it got easier and did a great job. The hair is easy to remove from the plastic barbs, so I can use each one over and over for a long while. I appreciate that.

This product works ok but I have used another one that is more flexible and doesn't require as much finagling to get down the drain and catch the hair and crap in the drains.

I now keep these in my home. My daughter occasionally will grab one to take to her house to clean her drains out. They work better than drano and definitely cheaper than a plumber.

I opened the box and made use of one of the drain cleaners as soon as it arrived. I had been using Drano in my bathroom sink regularly but it still seemed slow. No wonder! This thing pulled out a mass of hair and gunk I could not believe! Easy, cheap and effective. Great.
