Good quality product, unfortunately it's NOT 6 inches.I don't really understand why items keep being advertised with 1 measurement and having another one. Do companies expect the customers to keep buying these when they're clearly misrepresented.Hey great news if your chimney is 7 inches, you're good to buy it

This clogged up with dry wood and on the coldest day of winter windshield and temps in the negatives we had let our wood our heat source totally go out and climb on top of house to change back to the one we took off!

This is a good quality chimney cap. Absolutely worth the price based on competitors products. It's probably 9" in diameter and used 6 Alan screws to squeeze onto pipe at the top.
