The product is awesome grease nipple is a bonus but depends on how you install I think the nipple should be blown so the grease does not run out. I gave them a 5 star because there is nothing wrong but me not knowing how to wield them on takes a talent and a system to line each set up I will try again but product is great I just need to research more on install.

Welded hinges on square, multiple tacks so they wouldn't move and gate operated smoothly. When I welded it all up the metal pins expanded and warped from the heat and would no longer fit into the other part of the hinge. Ended up cutting them off and buying local. Very dissatisfied considering the price

I got the 6” hinges, really well made and strong… at first I was a bit concerned by the slight play in the pin. It’s a not a very tight tolerance, but after installing it on my large door project, 14’ wide, I realized you will need that play. Plus, once you fill the hinge with grease, I’m sure it will be perfect.I would definitely use these again in a heavy duty application.My one bit of advice is to check the package when it arrive. Mine had everything except one brass washer. Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to using them until 5 months after purchase, and Amazon doesn’t make it easy to contact seller. I still can’t figure out how to do that. It’s a simple small brass washer, but now I’ll have to figure out how to find a replacement

These are very smooth. I welded these on a custom gate I made. Very easy to use and smooth as butter. Add a little grease when you install them and they work like there supposed too. I used red bearing grease on install and its been about 6 months now with zero issues and zero squeaks. Would buy again for sure.

I have used these hinges several times on different projects. This time I was building a safe door and need a set of HD hinges that could easily lift apart. These worked great and carried the heavy door, probably some 450-500 Lbs., and allowed us to easily remove the door from the frame for transport and installation. Love these HD hinges.
