This is a good switch. However it has a tendency to get stuck between the five positions. It might be cool if the in-between spots gave you a new sound, but you'll get nothing ... like you're muted. That's not a good experience during live performances. Maybe I have a unique defect, but I've used Fender branded super switches and they don't have this issue.

Works well. Lots of wiring options.

Well worth the money. I installed this in my Ibanez that had the weird little switch in it. This switch feels right and has held up to some furious wah sounds with no problem. Highly recommend.

I've purchased several 5-way Super Switches, and this one's as good as the expensive ones. The detentes are crisp and are accurately aligned with the electrical contacts. Also, the detentes at the end positions (1 & 5) line up properly with the chassis - no extra play. The central shaft fits into the chassis with very little play - no jiggle, no unwanted connections. It's got the "outward" lugs on its pair of wafers, like most discrete-throw blade switches, so make sure your control cavity can accommodate it.Absolute bare-minimum cavity requirements: 20mm wide, 41mm long, 35mm depth. If you line that cavity with conductive material, you'll need more clearance to avoid short circuits. The mounting plate is 48mm long.It fits - I had cut a pickguard using a Fender-brand switch as the master, and the Kaish mounts in it precisely.Came with three strat-style tips of different colors.Oddly, the item is not featured in the Kaish store on Amazon.Overall a great deal.

After dealing with Fender's super switches being iffy out of the package and others failing over time it was a relief getting this one. The notches are stronger and center better, the whole boards don't move as much, the shaft has less play in the rotors, the rotors have less play in the boards, and the boards are slightly smaller making this slightly more compact - a big deal if using this in a Squier that has a thinner body or a Telecaster that often has this poke out further than the control plate accommodates. Very good switch, buying their 5-pack soon lolI forgot to even mention the pirce lol Priced just less than Fender's but 2-3 times as good

It does the job, but does not seem the most sturdy. The switch itself can be a little wobbly and make some click sounds between stops. The solder tabs seems sturdy enough. This is also a fairly big switch, so would only work in a body that has a deep electronics cavity. I installed this on an S Ibanez and the tabs scraped the bottom of the cavity a little easily solved by bending them up. If you have a guitar that has a shallow body, then you really need something more like the megaswitch. I really love the versatility in wiring that the super switch offers. That’s not unique to this particular super switch. It’s any one of them overall I think the switch works just fine, but I will probably go back to the mega switch at some point. If I had this project to do all over, I probably would’ve chosen the fender super switch or just stuck with my mega switch.

This think feels like it’s built like a tank. Very sturdy and a nice satisfying click. Definitely better than the Fender brand. Feels like it will last a lifetime.

This is a great switch for opening up new wiring and tonal options on my Strat, especially combined with an S1 volume control. It has good movement (clicks into place, not too stiff)

Good quality switch, firmly drops into position and opens up a world of wiring possibilities. May be too big for some import spec guitars - Squiers and the like may need a bit of routing.

The title says it all but I'll repeat. The switch is so pretty, idk why but I love the way it looks and feels, it's so nice. Turns smoothly, durable and held up to my soldering and resoldering several times, and the fact that they include 3 different colored switch tips?? *Chef's kiss* so nice.Mine arrived damaged, just to be transparent, I had to bend the switch lever back into shape and it's still not quite factory smooth, BUT, that is not the seller's fault, but the shipper/courier's fault so still, 5/5 guitar component :-D
