They were exactly what I needed to fix my old Coleman stove and lantern...They are ready for another 50+ years of loyal service...I looked everywhere from Cheyenne Wyoming to Longmont Colorado for this simple part...came close at one hardware store in Cheyenne and they were temporarily out and said 6 weeks...I had lost all hope....Then I thought about Amazon and bingo! Thanks guys! You saved my fall Wiper fishing trip!

These days it gets harder and harder to find small parts for old camping gear. My old stove and lantern needed new leathers. I was very pleased to find these at a good price and quantity. Lantern is working well now. I haven't tested the stove but based on lantern I have good expectations.

Initial impressions good, but will they last… changed my old rubber gaskets to these leather ones. It was a little trickier than I anticipated getting the locking washer off but once that was done replacement was relatively easy. A pair of needle nose pliers should do the trick. The leather ones are tighter than the original, so pumping takes a little more work. Initial impressions are good but it’s too early to tell how durable these are over the long term. Hoping they last as advertised.

Got lucky and received an old Coleman 2 burner stove built in 1971 for free, and after a few uses the pump gave out. I wanted to use OEM style parts, and these were the perfect fit. I soaked the cup in oil first to make it a little more pliable for installation and it couldn't have been easier to replace. I expect to lose the other 4 cups before I need to replace it again, but that's life I guess.

This is the why the old Lanterns used Oil in their Pumps! I can remember as a child the leather cup on the carbeuretor of my dad's 55 Chevy! It was on the primary pump. That is what pushed gas into the jets upon acceleration. Whenever it would loose acceleration he would take off the air horn, and apply 3 in one oil and work it into the leather to make it soft and supple! IT LASTED FOREVER!This was a time when things used to be "renewable". A time when you could set the points with a match book cover! (just about .018)A time before corporate greed dictated selling product over people. I am so very proud of the fact that this company realizes the value and merit of keeping these types of product alive!!!!!Update: Just Like Dad's! Arrived in good time, In good condition. Work just like the old days!
