Im impressed how good this is to clean silver coins and other silver stuff, but be careful, don't leave your silver coins or other silver stuff more than 5 second in it.

This cleans silver coins perfectly. My jar included a little "dip apparatus" which is absolutely useless. Only a very small coin would fit in it.I used disposable gloves. I placed each silver coin in a square of cheese cloth and dipped the coin in the solution for maybe 2-5 seconds. Then I washed the coin very well in clean water, and then patted the coin dry (not rubbed) with a soft cloth. Perfect!I did not use ammonia that others say they used.

I had some silver rounds that were in the little plastic sleeves, which allowed air to contact the surface. These are not collectable items, mostly just generic rounds, and the edges were pretty black from the tarnishing.Dipped them in the solution for ten to 15 seconds, then in pure water, then ammonia, then water again. Patted them with a microfiber towel (don't rub!) and let them dry. Perfect. Cannot tell the difference from untarnished rounds now.I wouldn't use this on a collectable coin, but for rounds, no worry. This stuff works great.

Be careful when buying this product. There is no window for a return. It just keeps you on asking questions then ask for pictures but then no window for return option. I got this product leaking, when I check the container seal is open. So I tried to dip couple of my coins. It dulled it instantly.. Never buy this product! Save your money!

Actually it would get a 4.5 if that was an option, I wish that it was, practice a little first before doing high dollar items, Don't overdo it if you can help it, rinse well with distilled water then gently pat coins dry, I don't really do much jewelry at all so I don't have any tips on jewelry.Essentially follow the instructions and hopefully it turns your items sparkling like new, the more often that you use this on a silver coin isn't in my opinion a good idea, I believe over time it will leave hairline scratches.
