The product I received seems to be high quality and straight. The main problem is that the package label said 5/8"x5/8"x12", which is exactly what I had ordered, but the 2 square steel bars are actually 1/2"x1/2"x12". when it comes to size, an 1/8" makes a world of difference. They definitely won't work for the project that I am doing because they are the wrong size. I am going to keep them, and maybe use them on another project.

This square bar arrived in good condition with no rust, straight, and just as described. The first project I used it for involved welding and machining of the material and it all worked perfectly. The remaining material will be used for more projects in the future. I have no doubt that it will work well for those projects as well.
