I got roughly 6 months of incredibly light usage out of this thing before noticing the front of the laptop bulging up near the track pad and knew it had to be this replacement battery starting to fail. since the battery sits right underneath that area. Pulled cover off and sure enough battery is starting to swell in a couple spots so I immediately pulled it out and put the old stock Dell battery back in. Battery did work ok when I put it in, gave me maybe an hour and a half to 2 hours of runtime at first, quickly started to not hold quite that long as time went on. I use this laptop infrequently and never leave it plugged in. Took a shot on this even tho there are quite a lot of bad reviews, got what I paid for so I can't be too mad. Just glad the thing didn't nuke itself before I noticed it was bulging.

Easy replacement. Took about 15 minutes (although I am very comfortable taking apart laptops with lots of experience). 1) Unscrew the bottom panel2) Unscrew the 4 screws holding in the old battery3) Disconnect the old battery at the battery terminal (not the board)4) Plug in new battery.5) Screw everything back together
