Q: What chemicals are in this product?
A: Our tablets are 100% natural with billions of scientifically selected bacteria cultures that produce enzymes to break down solid waste. There are no harmful chemicals!
Q: How often should I use them?
A: 1 per week is plenty for most homes. If your tank is more than 1500 gallons or your home is 4+ bdrms, we recommend 2 a week instead, OR, coupling the tablets with our monthly septic packets (1 packet per month + 1 tablet per week).
Q: Will this help keep plumbing lines clean?
A: Yes, our enzymes not only work to break down solids in your septic tank, but also help clean the lines leading to the tank & in the drain field beyond.
Q: We just bought a house with a septic tank and this is new to us. Do we need to add septic treatment?
A: Normal septic tank maintenance requires routine pumpings every 3-5 years, but it’s easy to accumulate excess solid waste a lot sooner. Using normal household chemicals such as hand soap and laundry detergent can kill beneficial bacteria needed to break down solids, so it’s best to use a bacteria additive to ensure the enzyme producing bacteria are alive, healthy & active.

I had standing water around my septic tank and the bad smell that goes with it. I bought two products, 1. this one and also 2. Roebic K-570-Q 32 ounce leach and drain field opener concentrate, which is to be used annually. I used the Roebic first, and saw results within 1 week. The amount of standing water went down from about 10 gallons to about 4-5 gallons, and the smell went away completely. I have been using the fizz tablets for weekly maintenance, and the smell has stayed away for two months. I am happy with the results, and I am happy that this product is in tablet form, not like the others that are plastic pods.

In the past I treated the Black Tank with a Bio Active Enyme liquid 4 oz post dumping.I chose this product and dilute it in a 64 oz glass jar. The jar is filled with warm tap water. Warm Tap Water helps activate the Bacteria and Enzymes prior to utilization.I add a tablet to the jar and let it dissolve.Since these tabs are for treating up to 1500 gallon tanks, my RV Black Tank is 45 gallon tank or 1/32nd of a 1500 gallon tank. I am refilling the 40 oz Bio Active Enzymes bottle which allows measuring 4 oz of solution and adding post dumping to the RV Black Tank.Update, first dump, after first four ounces added, all level sensors are clear for the first time...

I've only used it for a couple of weeks. Results are positive but there are many variables that influence its effectiveness. It's winter here at the moment and the septic system has slowed. Time will tell. Stay posted.

Concept and usage ease but if no fizz to displve is it working? Came with loose lid and no seal.

We've been using these for over a year. Never had any problems, and unlike some of the other active cultures for septic, they don't stain my toilet! I write the dates of use on the top of the can to make sure we use them every week.
