they're round, have threads in the bottom and will screw onto the intended bolt. I mean how do you review such a simple product, but i did. why 4 stars, 5 stars are reserved for exceeding expectations, it screwed on the bolt and held up the weight of the product i needed and didn't break, so met, but not exceeded expectations.

They work for lifting moderate weight items. I feel comfortable with say 250 lbs. (3/8 inch) It’s a galvanized finish so it’s rough, if you want smooth you don’t want galvanized. Works well for my purposes.

I have way to many hobbies. A big one is that we do an elaborate holiday light show for both Halloween and Christmas. I make most of the components for the show myself and I have several large props that we place in the yard. Our house isn't all that big and I have limited storage space. I am using these with a couple of larger props so that I can hang them from the ceiling in my garage. These are very solid and hold secure. I can thread a heavy duty rope through these and hoist them up. With everything I have to store, I need to use every inch of space.Solid construction, these could easily support a lot more weight that I am using them for. Very pleased.

Threads on original order were damaged. These look better, but not perfect. Good quality galvanized but not hot dipped.

These are big. I knew the size when I ordered them, but it doesn't hit until you're actually holding them in your hand. They were shipped in a plastic bag, and everything says they're solid and will be as strong as hoped for. I use these to attach to large/bulky/heavy items that I move in the bed of the pickup truck, and helps to secure them. Or attach them to give something to lift with hooks/chains. These may in fact be overkill for what I needed, but I'd rather have too much than not enough when working with heavy objects.
