This is my first time trying these synthetic filter disks for wide mouth Mason jars and I like them. I previously used smaller disks but these are so much better. For fresh air exchange, drill 4 small holes in the metal lid to go under the disk that has adhesive to stick to the jar ring. Or if you're using one piece lids you can stick it on the inside of the lid. They should last through multiple cycles. The only downside is that you shouldn't stick a needle through the filter and they don't allow for a Self Healing Injection Port. I may try to punch a hole in the filter large enough to fit a SHIP in the metal lid underneath.

I got these to put over a hole in a cultivation bag that I make after the substrate is colonized. I'm sure these filters work great in jars too. I don't have much else to say about them. They met my expectations and are something I'd recommend to others.
