They're nuts; specialized nuts that do what nuts do. I like these better than the kind you insert through the slot that turn when you tighten the screw; sometimes that can be finickey, but these eliminate that issue completely. They take a bigger "bite" of surface ares, providiing a more positive grip, and there's no way these are ever going to pull through the rail slot (as I've had happen with the other kind.)

This is what you need if you have the 2020 extrusions that have 5.2mm slot width where the drop in style nuts do not fit. This style works with all 2020 extrusions but must be installed from the end.Drop in nuts only work with 6.2mm slots.

The description says 100 pieces and the pictures show a large pile, but I only received 12 pieces. The bag says 100pcs on it, but only contains 12. I returned for replacement and received another bag that only had 12 pieces in it.
