I really love this Timberjack log roller 4 inch heavy duty application and design. I was able to roll a 72 inch to 80 inch log that was 18 to 20 inches in diameter and due for cuts at the 18 inch mark without much effort or struggle. What’s more is that I protected the chain blade from damage and used a little back work to set up and process over 20 logs the same size. This equipment is so heavy duty that it can provide a heck of a work out just moving it around; it works exceptionally well and it’s very easy to use. Assembly was a no-brainer and I would not do any log cutting without one. All in all a great product and made just right for the hard work to get done. I do recommend spraying some orange paint on it if you’re going to be using it in the Deepwoods because it blends well with the forest.

If you are cutting down trees, you need one of these. I grew up cutting firewood with my dad, so I know a little about cutting wood. Once you get the tree down, the real struggle begins. And the bigger the tree is, the bigger the problem you have. Once you get to the trunk of the tree you find out that it’s really difficult to just cut straight down through the tree. Frequently, after you get about halfway through the tree, it will begin to bend and pinch your saw blade. The only way forward is to raise the tree off the ground or roll it over and start from the other side. If the tree is large, neither of these choices is easy. That’s where the timberjack comes in. With this tool, you can roll and even lift the log up making it much easier to cut through the trunk. I recently moved to home with some large trees in the back yard that needed attention. I ordered this to make my job easier. The assembly is very simple and the instructions are clear. Assembly only takes a few minutes and the tools required are included with the kit. I generally don’t prefer multi-piece handles. They tend to be weak and flimsy. The handle for this tool is quite heavy and once it’s screwed together it makes a very stiff handle. I was pleasantly surprised. Really, everything about this tool is quite satisfactory. My only criticism is that the paint finish on the tool was a little rough. Every piece of the tool came wrapped in foam and was quite well protected. The abrasions and missing paint had to have occurred in the factory prior to shipping. It obviously doesn’t affect how the tool works and I’m sure it will have more patina after a little time in the field. It’s a very small critique on an otherwise great tool that I am happy to have.

The build quality is ok. The base is solid, but the hinge for the arm seems weak. It has side-to-side play. It should be ok if you don't side-load it when rolling logs, but that is easier said than done. The handle provided a good grip, and it was easy to assemble. The metal is heavy but feels cheap. The main bar is multiple pieces that are connected by threaded couplers. This is a good tool for smaller logs and non-frequent use. For the $80 price, it is a bit over priced. There are other log rollers for 20% less that look as good or better.

This is a heavy duty log jack with mostly nice manufacturing. The only exception is with a couple of the weld joints in some high stress locations. The foot could be a little wider to use in soft ground (otherwise just bring a short piece of 2x6). The foot also has two rubber plugs. One came off while unpacking and was lost in the first 20 minutes of use. A little RTV would have prevented this. Yeah, the powder coating is flaky in spots, but since I do not intend it to be part of my lumberjack tools exhibition, this is not so important. Some Eastwood matte black rust inhibitor fixed this right up. Otherwise this is much more heavy duty than I expected.Assembly took about 8 minutes with most of the time spent unwrapping pieces from foam packing. The instructions and tools provided are up to the task.Today was the first reasonably warm day and I was able to deal with a winter’s worth of downed trees that are no longer frozen to the ground. Well, at least a part of them. This jack made bucking easy. There are size limits for what this jack can handle for both diameter and weight. 12 ft long 10 in diameter sycamore was really easy. I went for big next. An 8 ft 20 inch diameter red oak was too much. The jack could grip it ok, but my puny 5' 8" 150 lb self could not crank it over without a cheater. If I had been about 50 pounds heavier....The 4.5 stars is about right. 4 makes me me seem petty but is closer.

My son just moved into a new house with a fire place so we've all been working on getting a wood pile set up. This really saved my back and made things much easier. I honestly don't think I would've been able to do much without this tool. If you cut your own wood or even move it this is a must.

I've been using the Pinlizly 50.9" Timberjack Log Roller for a while now, and I must say, it's a solid piece of equipment. The adjustable hook is a game-changer, allowing me to handle logs up to 24 inches in diameter with ease. This feature alone sets it apart from some of the more rigid, less versatile competitors out there. The comfort of the rubber handle is something I've come to appreciate, especially when I'm out in the woods for hours. It reduces the strain on my hands, making the job less of a chore. I've used it to lift logs for safe cutting, and the design really does make the process smoother. One time, I had to move a particularly stubborn oak log, and the Timberjack made it look like child's play. Now, one thing to consider is that this tool is not the lightest on the market. Some might find it a bit cumbersome to carry around, but for me, the trade-off in durability and functionality is well worth it. The heavy-duty carbon steel construction ensures it can handle the rough and tumble of outdoor work without bending or rusting. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable log roller that can handle a variety of log sizes and provide comfort while doing so, this Timberjack is a wise investment.
