About this item

  • 11 GPM flow rate
  • 3,000 pressure rating
  • 1/2" shaft diameter
  • 1.375" shaft length
  • Perfect for use on 5 to 35-ton log splitters
  • The outlet port for this pump requires a male NPT fitting. To avoid damaging the pump, do not use a straight-thread, O-ring style fitting.

This 2-stage hydraulic pump combines a large displacement low-pressure pump and a small displacement high-pressure pump. It is ideal for use with log splitters, machine tools, trash compactors, and other applications.

worked great for a while. Do not buy this pump unless you want to replace the hose and fitting on your wood splitter. I purchased one and it lasted not quite 3 months. The threads blew out because the housing is made of aluminum and it requires to use certain fittings. Poor Product

Replaced pump on 20 ton mtd splitter. Perfect fitment. Seems very well made. Exceeded expectations.

We bought a used wood splitter that needed a motor. After installing it worked like a new one.

this pump works great on a Troy-Bilt log splitter but you will have to get an NPT adapter because the Troy-Bilt fitting That goes to the high pressure outlet is not NPT. You can get the adapter at any Hydraulic store.

Pump was installed on a log splitter. Pump works as advertised. Note that the inlet barb on this unit is 1 inch diameter. The original equipment inlet barb was 3/4 inch, so I needed to get an adapter, found at my local auto parts store. Drive shaft was slightly longer than the OEM pump shaft, so the lovejoy connector had to be seated deeper on the motor side.Note: if you are working on a log splitter, you might want to take this opportunity to install a full flow ball valve between your hydraulic fluid reservoir and your oil filter, so you can shut off the reservoir and change out filters (and if need be replace your pump again) without having to drain out 5 gallons of hydraulic fluid. Just a thought!Installing the ball valve: you will need 2 3/4 inch close nipples and a 3/4 inch ball valve, and teflon tape for the threads. I used tape rated for black pipe and gas. You may have to adjust the length of your inlet hose as well.

This pump is working well after 4 ricks of wood. Figured out that the old pump is still good. Check the slot for the keyway. May have slipped on the coupling. This pump only has a half moon keyway where as some others are full keyway. Keep an eye on the set screw on the keyway and reset it with locktight every few months
