Makes fishing wire through small openings very easy. Add as many sections as you need to complete the job. A hook attachment at the end makes attaching the wire easy. Flexible enough to go just about anywhere. Made short work of my little job. Price point is very fair. Would recommend!

Needed a fish tape to install cable for camera system, it was a little flimsy so had to tape 2 pieces together and it did the job. For the price it is a good light duty fish tape.

Rod bent during use so it got tangled in the rafters.Overall it works if not fighting gravity.

Needed to pull a 12 gauge electric wire over 33 feet that could not be reached except at the end points. I was afraid that the rod connection points would not be able to pull the cable so I attached a cord to the rod and threaded the rod through the space to the other side, connecting one rod after another. Was able to tie the cord to the electric wire and use that to pull it back to the other end. Worked perfectly. Only issue I have with the product is it is hard to get all pieces back into the package for storage. You have to get all rods and accessories arranged just right. This is a good product.

Nice product. Small diameter. They are flexible and will bend if trying to make a long run (more than 4 feet) without support.Threaded ends work good, but are metric. You will need an adapter if you buy a light for the end.

I use this mini fish rod for small runs and corners. If you’re looking to fish 12/3 up 2 or 3 stories up through the walls you probably need a heavier duty rod, but if you’re trying to negotiate wires in tight spaces or pulling cat5/6 or coax, this tool is perfectly suitable. The very features that make it unsuitable for long, heavy pulls are the same features that I like most: short sections, very flexible, and can be used to fish through a corner where a partition wall meets an exterior wall with ease. The ring puller gets a lot of use, since I’ll feed the rod around a corner to where I can grab it, then tie off some waxed masons line and attach it to the wire I’m pulling, wrap with electrical tape and hit it with a coat of wax. When you pull it back through this adds enough flexibility to pull it through with ease.I just finished running the wiring for my kids’ built-in computer bench and this was the tool was used heavily in the process.
