Bought for my shed. I turned it into a woodworking shop. Glad I did. My shop is much warmer with this material. Keeps the heat in during the winter months and will reflect the heat in the summer I'm sure as it's what it's supposed to do. I kept my snow blower in the shed without this in it and was hard starting it during the cold winters. Snow blower was easily started this past winter. No freezing up. Great product. Highly recommend it.

Great product. Robust but easy to cut with scissors blocks heat transfer through roof for a few hours which is all you need sometimes.

Great product to use and work with.I have regonized a difference in the heat inside my shed to outside right away. As well now with the little bit cooler temperature as well, it is warmer in there. Love it and buy it again!!!

This foil is almost tear proof but cuts easily with a knife. The great thing is that it reflects heat rather than insulates. We used to "insulate" our entire house and attic during a to the studs remodel in 2018 . Our gas bill dropped 30% compared to the old fiberglass insulation. This time I used to insulate plumbing and heat ducts under a mobile home in central Montana.

Quality is good but had to return due to wrong measurements.Still waiting on the refund. Last time I checked it was going to be issued 12/8/23. It’s not 12/9.An update would be great.

This stuff is much stronger than the bubble-wrap versions. I installed it over insulation in the attic rafters- we have a steeply pitched roof with lots of surface area that creates much solar gain. Haven't gotten hot weather just yet, but hoping for a good cooling effect based on other reviews. We have a 100yr old house and no more room in the rafters for thicker insulation, so hoping this will work. Our finished attic is a real hot box in the summer even with fiberglass insulation.

My wife and I are building a sauna and bought this material to line the inner walls so as to limit heat loss and moisture transmission. To say it is worth every cent we paid for it is an understatement. It is a breeze to work with, cuts easily, is strong enough to be pulled on and tucked into crevices and corners and is thick enough to to the job it is purposed for. An excellent quality material. While we are still in the construction stage and have not tested the foil's efficacy, I am more than confident it will do what it is intended to do.Yes, I unreservedly recommend this product - and the seller who got it to me very quickly at a reasonable price.

This material was used to build a wall to partition an area of our basement for a workshop. We stapled it to studs and it was so easy to cut with scissors, but so strong it was impossible for us to tear. We put some insulation between the studs and then installed a small electric heater. We did this in an afternoon. So easy and the space is warm and retains it's heat very well.

This was a very heavy Aluminum foil on steroids.I use it as a reflective barrier along with insulation in a small building we use as an office at our grain storage bins. There is a small A/C window unit that will keep the building very cool in the hot weather. The foil was easy to use. I stapled in on the stud walls and taped the seams with a/c duct alumin tape.Very pleased and will buy enough to eventually cover the rafters in my residence.

I used this to wrap my flexible ducts in my attic. The ducts were fine but the plastic wrapping around the insulation had deteriorated and was falling apart. I wrapped the foil around the outside of the insulation to hold it all together. The foil was very thick and does not hold its shape like cooking foil thickness. I cut the length long enough to wrap around the duct and put it on four feet at a time. Any longer and it would have been unmanageable. I used aluminum tape to hold it in place then use Dap silicone to "glue" the edges down. It worked great. I just went back in the attic after a month and it is holding tight. I only needed half a roll to do a lot of ducts.

Very good product! Nice and sturdy. I was concerned about installing aluminum and it tearing from the staples, but the fibers made is very sturdy. It didn’t tear, and actually had to be cut with a utility blade. After install and completion of the sauna, i am very pleased with the insulation as well. Sauna stays hot well after the fire is out.
