These are tree starting pots, not forever pots. They are very thin and flexible, but strong. They fit nicely in an upside down pallet to hold them up, and keep your growing area neat and organized. They also last the couple of years necessary to get a tree seedling that can then be transferred to its permanent, in the ground, location. I like that, because they are thin, I can easily cut them down the side when it's time to transplant the tree seedlings without disturbing the roots. I've had a lot of success with these starter pots, and they are tall, allowing for a good long tap root to form. Some folks say they smell but I haven't noticed. I really like them. Perfect for starting Christmas trees.

The material does feel like plastic coated paper, not sure exactly what it is but it is holding my saplings just fine. I thought I saw a video review of someone trying to rip these (and being unsuccessful) to show how strong they were, must have been on another product as I don't see it here, and when my husband saw them and asked why I chose them over something else, I said "They're really strong! See! *riiiiip*" Then stood there for a good few minutes in shock while my husband laughed at my stupidity. So yeah, don't try testing their strength, they do rip just like paper...

These are perfect for starting pawpaws from seeds since they have room for a long taproot. They do need to be supported or strapped together to keep them from falling over. They should work well with other fruit trees as well. Not sure how useful the little tools are, but I appreciate the gesture.

Despite reading the reviews these are even thinner than I expected. They’ll work for me for fig cuttings, but they will not stand on their own. I propped them up against each other in a grow bag and they should be ok. But yes, very thin, flimsy, oh and stinky. 😕

I bought these to plant some Pawpaw seeds. They are fairly flimsy, but they stand upright when filled with soil. They seem solid enough to not rip apart. They don’t look pretty, but I also didn’t buy them for aesthetics. My pack was missing the tools, but I’m indifferent about that. I wouldn’t have used them anyway. These seem like a perfect option for starting trees from seeds.

J'avais lu plusieurs commentaires qui mentionnait une odeur bizarre, mais aucune odeur du produit. Ça correspond exactement à la description et semble être la grandeur idéale pour de jeune pousse d'arbre!

I purchased these pots in hopes of using them for planting grape cuttings. The pots were incredibly thin and flimsy and do not really hold their shape as they should, which meant having to place them such that they did not fall over. And the WORST thing about them is that they smell heavily of the petrochemical smell that makes up the plastic material itself. They smelled so bad I left them by the door to try to air them out, and after a bit, you could smell them even 2 rooms away. The chemical off-gassing was that strong. With the fact I was using them for ultimately food plants AND that we have birds in the house that are super sensitive to smells that it could risk harm to them, we just decided we can't use them. Not worth the price or risk for us.
