The tongs were well made and looks like it will last a long time. I use it for getting ice cubes out of the ice bucket besides handling food.

I bought these to be Christmas gifts for several japanese-steakhouse-loving members of my family..... We had used similar tongs at one of our recent visits to a well-known steakhouse. Unfortunately I cannot give them, as the quality is poor. The balance is not good (they tip forward onto the "nose" which touches the food), and the edges are very sharp. The metal feels cheap as well. Disappointed.
