This is nicest cooking pot I have ever owned. It is nonstick, large enough to hold almost any recipe, heavy material and nice looking in my kitchen. Love it!

I love the lid because it has a strainer and it locks while you strain off the water.

Has the feel of quality and sturdiness. Love how the handles lock in the lid for easy draining.

I absolutely love this pot. Nice lid locking feature built into the handles. Cleans nice too. Make sure you read directions before first use. This pot is different from all others i purchased because after first initial soap and water wash and rinse, it says to oils the inside of the pot. I don't believe it has cast iron, to my knowledge it is ceramic inside. It is my go to pot for many dinners. Highly recommend.

I received the larger one for a Christmas present and, after using that a few times knew that I had to buy the "baby" right away! The pots are so well made, sturdy, and very nice looking, the lid locks very securely and I noticed that each strainer side has different-sized holes for different food items. These are used daily in my house, they clean up so easily and I love the non-stick element for rice, and pot casserole-type dishes.

My only complaint about this pot is that the handles get too hot. My old pot made very similar did not do that. Other than that, this is worth the purchase. For draining, I like that there are 2 options of drain hole sizes.

Update: I'm happy to report that 4 months in, this thing still works as good as day 1, no sticks and boils, stirfry, etc anything easily. I don't even use any oil for browning my ground meat anymore and have had 0 problems! Highly recommended!I've been looking for something like this as I cook pasta fairly frequently, but there are so many similar models on the market with various quality and reviews that it was hard to decide on one. This one seemed to be quite good compared to the rest, so I went with this. I was worried that it was going to be too small as I occasionally cook 2 pounds of pasta at once, but I didn't want to get the 8.5 qt as I felt it was way too big. I'm happy to report that even the 5 qt has plenty of room for 2 pounds of pasta. The pot is sufficiently wide and deep that you can submerge 1 pound of pasta without much water at all, resulting in faster cooking time (because less water means faster boil). Overall I'm really happy with the purchase and it is a sure upgrade to my kitchen!Pros:-Lock feature works very well. The way it is designed, I can't imagine the lid slipping off while I am draining the water-The pot is deep which allows you to boil pasta easily.-I had no issues stir frying ground meat in the pot as well with a small amount of oil and there was no issues with food sticking to the pot.-I was able to boil water quickly even on a small 1000w hot plate (electric) burner.-While the handle does get pretty hot if you are boiling pasta for 10-15+min, I found it wasn't scalding hot. At least I had no issues draining the water without using any mittens or cloth. If your hands are sensitive to heat, you may want to use mittens though.Cons:-Using the handle is a bit finnicky due to how stubby and how it shifts between locking and unlocking position. It is not a big issue, but sometimes you just want to grip the handle to keep the pot in place while stirring food and it is a bit weird.-For the same reason, washing the pot by hand in the sink was slightly awkward for the same reason. I don't think the handle will break or anything as it seems super sturdy and didn't creak or anything like that. However, I do find that I will lock and unlock the handle naturally while holding it to clean the pot. I hope it won't be a problem long term, but given how simple the mechanism is, I don't expect it to be.

My favorite feature is how easy is it to clean. The leftover pasta doesn't stick to the pot at all. You can easily slide it all off rather than having to chip away at it.It's the perfect size for serving up to 4 people. If you need to make a large amount, you'll want a larger pot.The strainer works great. The handle lock works great. Overall it's just a quality product that works as advertised.
