This is a more inexpensive option. It fits and works as you would expect. I feel this was a good purchase, no regrets. I love my BGE!

I needed this to smoke a bunch of meats. It works great. I really like the sliding top grate. Only minor issue is that you have to make sure everything is realigned before closing the lid as it can keep the lid slightly open if misaligned.

Skip the gen version, and go with this if you want to save a bit of money. Decent product, seems well made.

I love that this versatile rack was priced more reasonably than the name brand. However, when we received it, we noticed that one of the rack handles was bent. It was not damaged during shipping as the packaging was in perfect condition. It appears that it was bent incorrectly during fabrication. My hubby ended up breaking the original weld and repaired it. Works perfect now. I would still recommend this rack,just inspect it well.
