These lampshades worked well for me. I bought them to refurbish a Mainstays 5 arm floor lamp. They're smaller than the lampshades that originally came with my lamp, but it didn't bother me. The bulbs did stick out from the shades, but I just moved the lamps so it wasn't too noticable. These lampshades are sturdy, brightly colored and look exactly like the photos of them on here.They worked well for their intended purpose. Who wants to get rid of a perfectly working lamp because they can't find replacement parts for it? Not me. :-) I have looked for larger replacement lampshades and I can't find them anywhere for a decent price. I refuse to pay $50 for a set of basic plastic lampshades. I could buy 2 new lamps for that price!To sum this up, the shades are smaller but colorful, well-made and affordable

I simply wanted to add a pop of colors to the otherwise dull floor lamp. This adds a touch of rainbow effect to the room, when lit. Love it!

The original shades on my 5-Headed floor lamp were colorful, too. I've had it for many years, love the versatility of lighting options it gives me since I use it where I spend the most time, usually doing crafts. The shape was of the shades was minutely different from the originals - my yellow shade got broken when we moved to the mobile home - but not enough to be a big deal as a replacement. It was the vividity of the new shades colors that had me happily change all 5!!! I saved the remaining shades that came on the lamp, just in case another shade gets accidently broken.

I bought these as a replacement for some broken light bulb covers. The orginal cover is pictured on the left and the replacement is on the right. The replacements fit and they look good, they are just not tall enough to cover the full light bulb.

They are slightly shorter and slightly more opaque than the lamp shade they were replacing, but they feel much more durable and are very vibrant. It wasn't a struggle to put em on either, I am quite pleased.

I love them. I did learn, however, ONLY use LED bulbs. I did not realize how hot regular bulbs are and the heat caused some of the shades to dry out, become brittle and then crumble. So this is my second set and am now using correct bulbs. I love the mid century feel of these shades.
