The outside barrel fitting was too small for standard 1/2 inch tubing so I had to file it wider to make it work.

Well made. Work great. I pushed some under sized tubing on the barbed nipple and it was very difficult to push it over the barb. Plastic nipple did not break.

These worked and seem strong enough being plastic . Just be sure the tubing you buy fits this. Apparently tubing size isn’t universal which!
