How does it work?
To start, cure your wooden barrel, then pour your desired liquor or beverage into the cask along with or without a Swish Barrel Essence (not included) and then sit tight because in just two weeks time your one-of-a-kind blend will be aged to perfection and ready to serve straight from the tap.
Due to the higher surface area ratio of a mini barrel, spirits will age 8x to 10x faster than commercial size bourbon barrel, thus giving you a well aged taste in weeks rather than years. This accelerated ageing process is used in craft distilleries and breweries all throughout the world.

The barrel is great quality and I plan on ordering more directly from the seller. Amazon completely screwed my orders up but Thousand Oaks Barrel went out of their way to fix Amazons mistakes and still get the order here on time. They’re easy to contact and are great communicators.

This is my second barrel with this brand and I and sending it back. The barrels won't seal. I have gotten numerous barrels, this is not my first rodeo. Seasoned barrel for over a week, as soon as I put my spirits in it it leaked. Wanted time and spirits. I will be asking for compensation for the lost time and spirits. Dan

Good barrels, only 1/7 were unacceptably leaky last run. Much better than the finished or glossed whiskey barrels.
