I’ve had this kennel for 4-5 months and it was great until it wasn’t. It was easy to put together however the cage is not durable for active animals. My kitten tore through three of the shelves. The material is not as strong as it looks. I wish they would sell the replacement shelves separately for maintenance as animals will wear them out within a month or two.

The instructions were pretty straight forward however the metal is not strong and is ideally made for kittens not cats. The framing is bent and the mesh material frame bent the first time my cat got down off the third teir. I wouldn't recommend at all.

This is cheaply made in China. The wirings are so thin and bends with a slight force. The black solid cover was easily ripped along when the wirings get bent or broken cos it won't hold the weight of my 7 lbs kittens when they play: climb and jump around. They also sent me too much "doors" (6 more) and not enough divider (6 less) to complete the whole thing so I had to improvise and use the doors as dividers. Smh. Don't buy this. Not worth the money. I'm just so disappointed.

First off I like this product and my cat loves his new "condo" for when we have to be away for a long period of time.With that said it did take some doing to put it together. I did not use the base fabric section as I put it on a rug. I also did not construct the shelves as recommend just because I needed space for his larger covered litter box within the space. So I will say that it is entirely possible to put it together to suit your needs.I did construct one shelf on the top tier for him to sleep on. Since he only spends maybe 10% of confined time in the "condo" I was not concerned with the extra platforms as he otherwise has full run of the house.Now I will make a disclaimer here that when it was constructed without the zip-ties on the joints it was not sturdy enough for my liking.Personally I placed a zip tie around every corner of the joint- meaning around four zip ties per connector. It was more zip ties that come provided (I had to use some of my own). However in doing so with the heavy quality of the wire gauge it made the "condo" very sturdy!Which is good because my cat likes to pretend he is a monkey and climb or hang on the wires with his full weight sometimes .Overall with the addition of the zip ties to reinforce it me and my cat are really happy with this. I do not think you could keep two cats in here comfortably, unless they were on the smaller side or you had a smaller litter-box perhaps.I would recommend it if you are willing to add the zip ties for peace of mind- especially if you have a cat that like to play monkey like mine.
