I used the isolation base pads to further isolate my turntable. This system is wired to some large Klipsch speakers that vibrate my entire living space. The base pads have performed as promised. The other unexpected benefit? The floor in my warehouse loft is not level, so the homemade rack upon which the turntable sits is not level, but the pads somehow make the turntable sit in a perfectly level position. I'm not a physicist, so I have no idea how this works. ;-) My only criticism: the pads come completely apart. Like if you drop one of the pads on the floor the caps and springs will go everywhere and you must re-assemble. Otherwise, I am happy with purchase and the price!

I've been struggling with old wood floors causing my tone arm to skip. We had to tip toe in that room to keep it from skipping. These instantly fixed it. I was stomping around right beside my turntable with my 250 lb frame and no skips. I had to jump to get it to even glitch slightly.

Of the various metal isolation products available, I found springs to be the most effective for my speaker by providing better clarity, definition and decay in the upper-mid and higher regions. Just had to get over initial concern of the wobble when placing my speaker on it. Actually, deployed combination of other dampening materials to help tackle the spectrum of vibration that travels thru materials. My speakers already sounded good, but now they sound better! Funny how I say my equipment sounds better, but in reality I'm addressing the invisible sound robbers that is crippling my equipment. Never knew how much vibrations can rob overall sound quality throughout the system. This also includes handling noise in power and interference in interconnects/speaker cables. Individual tweaks may contribute to a small improvement, but the accumulation of all the tweaks can be significant and in my case improvements in overall resolution, sound stage height and openness were experienced.

They worked fine under my turntable.

I purchased these to isolate my turntable from floor vibrations and reduce skipping, but they seem to have made 0 difference. Might be good for heavier objects like speakers, but not great for turntable purposes.

Have high end powerful kef 3 speakers that can't get far enough away from turntable. This fixed feedback or (bass loop) at loud volume. Saved me hundreds dollars as only thing left to try was expensive floor speaker stands

Springs, rubber and plastic are all it took to solve vibrations and rattling in speakers. Great design and well thought out too. These work period!!!

These are designed so you can remove some of the springs depending on what you are placing them under. The springs stick in the holes pretty tight, so you can easily lift the turntable or speaker off without having springs falling out. With a 50lb subwoofer you probably want all the spings in place. A 12lb turntable, maybe one spring in the center hole. I'm using two springs per unit under a turntable in a sunroom addition that has a lot of vibrations and sound is perfect....
