If you have a boat, a truck, a garden, etc. like we do, tying things down and securing them is just a way of life. Small carabiner clips like these are indispensable for making all of that work easy, but we’ve grown tired of the cheap hardware store links that seem to lose their spring or just flat out break within a few months of use. These steel links are not that at all; the quality and manufacturing precision are evident. These have been super reliable and basically zero staining under our use. The value in the 10-pack is excellent. Highly recommended.

Bought these for a quick connect for one end of a pickup truck tie down rope and they work great to connect to a D ring. Saves time tying down dump loads and tarps. These are heavy duty spring action with a nice snappy spring mechanism and easy to use, good quality weight for the size. Don’t feel cheap and I picked up this set of 4 at almost the same price point as a single 800lb weight rated clip at my local big box store. Price is very reasonable in comparison. My grading scaleMy ratings are based on one or more of the following characteristics. Please note I consider 4 stars a very high rating.* 1 Star - unsatisfactory - poor quality - misleading or false ad copy - would not recommend to anyone* 2 Stars - below expectations, needs improvement - inferior materials And/Or design - poor value* 3 Stars - meets reasonable expectations of quality, design and durability at the price point* 4 Stars - Exceeded expectation - above average performance of materials, design and craftsmanship - good value - would recommend* Five stars - Truly outstanding - exceptional quality and design - exceeded all expectations of materials, design, craftsmanship, durability and value. Would recommend without any reservations5 point rating scale:* 1 - Unsatisfactory* 2 - Needs improvement* 3 - Meets expectations* 4 - Exceeds expectations* 5 - Truly outstanding

Got this box of clips for random projects around the house, but one big one being keeping my tarp/cover for my mower on my mower when not in use. Though rain isn't going to hurt it unless we have a hurricane where we're at, it's the snow I worry about. These clips have been holding my cover in place on my mower for the past few weeks, and I have to say I'm very pleased with the results. 2 rain storms, many wind storms, and just day in/day out randomness. They are still working today with no changes in the spring opening and no signs of stress anywhere. Very happy with these box of clips!

I got these for hanging a swing bed with rope that was very squeaky. These solved that issue and work great.

I use these with strap runners on my climbing harness to hold speedlines lanyards. Size is just right. They dont take up too much room like bigger carabiners and are easier to manage and keep out of the way. The gate springs are loud! After oiling, they quiet down but eventually start making noise again after a week or so of use. These definitely have the strongest gate springs of any snap hooks I've owned in the past. I like them alot, except the noise

Works well for hooking, hanging, holding things...But, THESE ARE NOT HEAVY DUTY CARABINERS MADE FOR CLIMBING!I knocked of two stars because of the irresponsible verbiage used in the description "Heavy Duty Rope Connector, Large Carabiners" "for Hammock, Swing, Climbing"These are lightweight, light-duty use, 2" carabiner-like clips for holding lightweight things, which is what I needed..

This carabiner has some weight to it and feels very heavy duty. It says it can hold 150 lbs on the box and it just might. These are not the toy carabiners you get in the store made of aluminum to use on a key ring. I did not get these to be weight bearing but to use on my pack to hang accessories off to allow more room inside to carry things. They have worked well for that. I also used a few on a tarp to make it easy to hang at a campsite from our pop up gazebo. I definitely would recommend these. The only thing to be aware of is they are made of metal so are heavier in weight than an aluminum one if you are using them for hiking.
