These are just “okay”. They aren’t the greatest clips, but you get a lot for less than some of the other sellers. They aren’t heavy duty, but again- if one breaks, there is another to replace it with. Several within my order either don’t open/close easily or all the way, or are oxidized and rusty.

They work fine for my T8 grow light fixtures. They were easy to open and closed securely. I did not cut or scratch myself by any little burrs but the tips of the clasp has some sharp edges so beware and use some care and dexterity.

These Mini Carabiners are very magnetic. I know there is some SS alloys that are slightly magnetic when held next to a magnet, but these just clamp onto the magnet like a piece of iron. The finish is dull, like zinc plating. I soaked on in salt water for a day, but so far have not noticed any rust or corrosion. Only time will tell how these will hold up to the elements.

The product description mentions "stainless steel," but after taking a closer look at one of the photos, I realized it actually says "zinc galvanized steel." This was a disappointing surprise. It’s possible the description is only referring to the spring being stainless steel, but the carabiners themselves are definitely not. I tested them with a rare earth magnet and confirmed they are not stainless steel.The quality of these carabiners is decent, but they are not suitable for constant outdoor exposure. I’ve also purchased carabiners from other brands like "Outmate," and those are 100% stainless steel. If you plan to use these indoors, they should work fine, but outdoor use is questionable.

Well, these cute little things are definitely not stainless steel. Other than that huge distinction, they are as advertised. Size is accurate. the closure is sharp; you may want to hit them with a bit of sandpaper so you don't stick yourself. I've had two of them working for me, holding a flag to my pole for a couple of weeks now, and they are doing their job just fine. It's a heavy flag, too: sewn stars, all seams triple stitched, and made in USA. These are also handy for keys!

Functions as expected. A good value for the money. Easy to open. Lightweight. Built well. Clip quality is appropriate for current usage as I use them to secure my yard decorations.
