The Sauder part of the metal that screws in the bulb melted and dripped into my Beardies tank...... good thing it didn't get on him, it would have burned him, and he's a baby/ Had an angel on his tail that day.

They fit perfectly for the cage I bought for my bearded dragon. That little light makes it very desert like for my lizard.

I bought these 5 months ago. And already went through all 4. Some bulbs only lasted 2-3 weeks. And two of them lasted maybe 6 weeks. I even used gloves so my hands would touch the bulb as I hear the oils from your hands can make them have decrease life. Cheap but rather spend a couple dollars more and get better quality bulbs that last longer than a couple weeks

Even with them being small they put out a good deal of heat. I don’t use it exclusively for UVB, mainly a heat bulb that lasts a long time and you can use smaller bulb holders (I get bendable ones made for them) I drop or knock over dome lights constantly (or one of the iguanas will purposely knock them off to get my attention) which breaks bulbs constantly and these can be knocked over and dropped without shattering and still working. With bigger tanks or hotter environments for bearded dragons, uromastyx, iguanas when they’re small these work out well, but don’t rely on them for UVB. The output and longevity for UVB isn’t as strong and could result in calcium deficiencies (MBD metabolic bone disease which can be quite severe and life threatening) I like using 2 or 3 with the bendable holders so the basking area has heat all around and the holder being adjustable you can create a heat gradient easier than with just one big heat bulb

Nice and bright, works perfectly with my porcelain tank top fixtures, my 20yr old EasternBox and and 5yr old Painted pull out the lawn chairs and bask away.

I was a bit skeptical when we received these because of their small size. In fact, we thought they would not fit our standard light fixture for our geckos. We were 100% wrong. These fit and produce a powerful light for our geckos to bask. These are on our must buy list for the future through Amazon verses the trip to the local pet shop. Reasonably priced and high quality. Win-win!
