Work great on two raised panel, one inch thick oak doors used to hide two circuit breaker panels and two Generac whole home backuup switch over panels. These doors are quite heavy, which was my concern, as well as clearance between doors, when opened as the open towards the middle and feared they might hit one another. I can only open one at a time but they appear to have no problem with the weight even when open. They mounted easily to doors as well as "thick" center face frame between doors. I would buy again.

These hinges are surface mount so they are easier to install then the standard cabinet hinge the you have to drill a resess hole for. The are very smooth and the instructions are pretty clear

we plan on adding a flip down front to a set of bookshelves to act as a bar surface. the 2 requirements were that the panel would be inset and that when open the panel was at the same level as the shelf it was attached to. so far we have only experimented with scrap lumber, but these seem to do the trick. there are no directions. we used the graphic in the product description to figure out which end goes on the panel and which goes on the door. we used measurement shown in the graphic marked inset as a starting point (though it seems the images for partial and full overlay were reversed). using the slotted holes there was ample space to fine tune the fit. as other people have mentioned, they come with bugle head screws. we’ll replace them with pan head screws when we do the real installation.

Some other reviews said they received defective hinges because they were difficult/impossible to close. This is true if you try to open/close them by hand when they're not attached to anything as you don't have enough leverage. Once they're attached to a cabinet/door, you can open/close them just fine.That being said, they are a stiffer hinge with the spring action. It kind of pops open and is held there. If you want something that will keep the door open, these are a good fit. If you want a more "soft close" feel, these are not the hinges you want.I purchased these because I didn't want to deal with placing/drilling out a hole for cup hinges. So far they've met that need.No instructions were included, but they're not too hard to figure out. The hinges have oval shaped holes and circle shaped holes. I suggest securing first with screws in the the oval shaped holes so you have a little bit of wiggle room for fine adjustments. Once everything is dialed in, tighten and then add screws to the circle shaped holes.The screws that came with these hinges will strip out easily, but this has been my experience with pretty much any screw that comes with a product. To help avoid this, make sure you drill a wide enough pilot hole and apply plenty of downward pressure when screwing in.I did not like that they came with countersunk shaped screws. I swapped in some panhead stainless steel screws purchased from the hardware store.

Much the same as many reviewers have noted.1) These come without instructions. Go to the product listing and look at the photos carefully to figure it out. You may want to temporarily screw them to two pieces of scrap wood to see just how they work and for spacing.2) It may seem at first that they don't work and won't bend. They will, but when they aren't attached to anything you don't have much leverage, and the way they bend is a little inobvious. You *can* open and close them with just your fingers (but don't get pinched), but it may take some fooling around to figure it out.3) They come with non-ideal screws. You really want pan-head screws about the same size.4) These are not 'normal' hinges! These are hidden hinges and/or for situations where one moving part needs to be extended outward to clear the non-moving part. If you're not sure why you need this specific type of hinge, odds are good that this isn't the type of hinge you need.I've installed them, though, and they work fine, and they seem sturdy. Price is good. Packaging, etc, not so good. I'd buy them again if I needed more, but it helps that I've got some practice with these now.
