About this item

  • [4-LAYERE FILTRATION] Including PP cotton, Non-woven fabrics, activated carbon fiber, molecular sieve, and KDF-55 fiber. Effectively removes sediments, 99.5% of chlorine, chloroform, volatile organic compounds, lead, iron, manganese, arsenic, unpleasant odors, bad taste, and more.
  • [FULL-FLOW TECHNOLOGY] The perfect combination of PP cotton, Non-woven fabrics, and carbon fiber provides exceptional clarity while maximizing clog resistance. Its remarkable anti-clogging capability ensures consistent strong, clean water flow throughout its entire lifespan, while minimizing pressure drops
  • [EFFECTIVE AT HIGH-FLOW RATE] Unlike most RV water filters that only work effectively at low flow rates, ours is specifically engineered for high flow rates up to 5gpm. With its composite activated carbon fiber block and molecular sieve, plus a KDF-55 layer filtration layer, users get cleaner, fresher water.
  • [STURDY CONSTRUCTION] The RV water filter with stand features brass threads, brass adapter kit, and advanced plumber's tape, ensuring the filter canister can withstand pressures of up to 85 psi. Unlike all-plastic filters, ours effectively prevents issues such as thread stripping, cracking, and leakage
  • [VALUE-ADDED CAPACITY] Capacity 5,000-7,000 gallons, based on a chlorine concentration of 1-2 ppm in tap water. It's a great investment for heavy users who want a long-term supply of clear drinking water. Replacement filters (ASIN B0DMW1NX26) are available to help you save money in the long run

Can it reduce TDS and hardness?

In hard water, TDS mainly consists of minerals like calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium. While filters using reverse osmosis or ion exchange can reduce TDS and hardness by removing these minerals, they are often either bulky or have very slow flow rates. Additionally, their low capacity is a common limitation.

Like all similar filters, it does not significantly affect TDS or hardness levels. At present, there are no standard-sized filters available on the market that can provide an ideal flow rate while also removing calcium and magnesium ions. However, it effectively removes contaminants such as chlorine, sediments, heavy metals, odors, bad tastes, and more.

The product shipped quickly with all parts in the box.We decided to get this larger capacity filter after using one of the smaller, single-use type filters for a season. On our first trip out this filter was easy to use and filtered our drinking water in our RV. The design is sturdy, no leaks, and was easy to assemble the few screw-in parts and the handy 4-legged mounting stand.I'd certainly recommend this product.

I really like this filter for cleaning up water I get from different RV parks. While it may be filtered enough to drink we still run our drinking water through a Brita filter. The stand is sturdy and easy to hook up since I use quick connects on it. The filter is replaceable at a reasonable price.

Easy to assemble and take apart. The base is very stable and the fittings are metal-not plastic. The filters are readily available, therefore it should be easy to find replacements. I recommend this 100%

We are fairly new to getting back to RV life so when we outfitted our RV last year we got one of those inline filters that we attached to a water splitter that attaches to a spigot. We soon found though that we couldn't always make the filter work because the water source was so low to the ground. After several RV parks where we couldn't use the filter I asked someone at the front desk and they said in the colder areas of the country they keep the pipes closer to the ground because they are less likely to freeze. When I saw this filter that had it's own stand I knew I had found the solution. I did also need another small 4ft hose to connect it to the spigot, leaving the large hose to go from the filter to the RV. After hooking it up, it works like a dream providing good clean filtered water. I can't wait for our next trip.

I got this filter to replace the smaller in line filters that don't seem to do anything for clarifying campground water. This is a great filter with a nice stand that is easy to setup. The included sealant tape is unlike any I have ever used and it is very slick making it harder to apply to the fittings. Luckily they included a graphic to show how to use this unfamiliar, ultra slippery sealant tape.Note, put the handle on the fittings first as the handle connects to the inner side of the fitting (between the fitting and housing) before the fittings thread into the filter housing. I made the mistake of connecting the fittings first, prior to attaching the handle. I was impatient.

When I saw this filter set up I knew it was the perfect solution for when I need to fill my hot tub. This fall I had to drain my hot tub to make some repairs. When I refilled the tub after and added sanitizer to get it ready to use again, the tub turned a terrible shade of brown overnight. After reading a few posts on the web I came to realize that it was the iron from my well water that was reacting with the sanitizer and turning the water a rusty brown color. Since it took more than a week and $50 worth of chemicals to get the water clear again, it was "clear" to me that there had to be a better way. My local hot tub dealer recommended an inline filter for my garden hose to remove the iron the next time I change the water. So when I saw this filter kit I knew that this was an even better solution. I like that the filter is big with a significant capacity so it will be years before I will need to replace the element. The stand that comes with the filter makes for a neat and clean way to set it up and connected the hoses to it. One hose coming from the wall spigot to the filter and a 2nd one from the filter into the tub. I am glad that I saw this filter set up and besides it saving me money on chemicals the next time I change the water, the water will be crystal clear and usable as soon as it gets up to temperature.

I have not used this water filter in my camper yet, but I have hooked it up and tested it for leaks. I let it run a few minutes clear out any extra charcoal that might have been in the system and after that I had clear good tasting water with no leaks. I really like some of the design features of this unit such as the stand. The stand comes apart and collapses in case you don't need it or for while traveling. I also like the way that the carry handle attaches to the inlet and outlet connections of the filter making a very secure connection. In addition to that there is a hook and loop strap that holds the filter in the stand. I'm not sure that's really necessary but it's there if you need it. This is my second filter assembly that actually has a replaceable filter. We're not full-time campers, but we use our camper about 6 to 8 weeks a year. Between camping trips, I take the filter apart and remove the cartridge and let them both sit in the sun to dry I feel like this is the best way to do it as I believe I don't have to worry about it building up mildew or bacteria when not in use.
